I have loved Justin Hayward and the Moody Blues since way back in the 60s when I was a starry eyed teenager who believed in the legends of white knights and damsels in distress. The fact that he and they were English only enhanced my attraction to them. Now, all these very many years later, I hear his voice and Im taken back to those years and nothing has changed. The piano and the guitar are superb in this song, but its his rich, resonant voice that got me then and still, gets me now.

I enjoy both the Moodies and the Seekers, and it's really good to hear the Moodies do Christmas songs. Today is my first time to not only hear these songs, but also that they ang these Christmas songs. They are really good.

I've been enjoying this band since the early '70's. Oddly enough, Justin Hayward is not an original member though he made the band what it is today. Denny Laine started the Moody Blues and there big hit was "Go Now". Even Justin said Mike Pinder was probaly the best musician out of them all. Patrick Moraz also did a stint with Yes. We just saw the current lineup of the Moodies and they were great. They have an extra percussionist to help Grahme who is lie 68 now. Still a Great Band

I forgot I commented on this, it was 5 months ago.

From what I understand, the original line up didn't include Justin and John, they first appeared with them in '67. There is a clip here on youtube by NYrainbow, which has the original line up of the Moody's singing Go Now, during the NME awards in 1965. I don't remember the second song, but Ray Thomas was really going for it with his Harmonica.

What happened to Ray Thomas though? He's not listed in the credits.
