it's weird....when the final episode was finished i just sat there expecting to cry but no tears came, then i watch this!.....and i mange to choke out a tear. =\......only supernatural can make you cry over a fictional character.
This is so hard to watch, Cas is such a beloved character. Season 6 was a heartbreaker to see. Cas was trying to do the right thing and it blew up in his face. Dean turned his back on him, Cas had no body to turn to.
Wow, this actually made me a little sad. Sometimes, my heart really breaks for Castiel. It's easy to see how he could make all these horrible decisions, thinking they're right. 'the road to hell' indeed.

This is amazing and beautiful. It reminds me of how much those last 3 episodes hurt, and why I desperately need season seven to FIX things not just push Castiel aside as they've been claiming is the plan. Castiel is my favourite character; he is the reason I started watching the show in the first place. And this video captures so much of why he is so amazing and wonderful. Dean himself said it; he's like a child - and children need time to grow up. You hear that SPN writers? Give him TIME!
@Rosawyn Quite frankly, from a storytelling standpoint, Cas probably has one of the most interesting and changing journey/story-arc than any character, he has learned so much and grown since his first appearance, all of these moments just makes him even more better and well-rounded as a character. If the show just casts him aside like trash, they are tossing away one of the best characters they have ever written and it's lazy, shameful, and a waste. Cas needs to stay, his story is not over yet!

It's when this child grows up and begins to choose what he believes to be right that all things are shot to hell. Your video is so gorgeous and the scenes were well-picked. I have listened to their albums so many times... and this song was one of the first songs I heard of thiers and it has always been my favourite... it's so simple... yet so beautiful and meaningful... I could honestley listen to this song over and over again and never get tired of it... and I have seen so many videos to this song... but as soon as I saw this....

Okay, its taken me a while to regain composure and properly function so i can comment. BUt this has got to be one of THE BEST castiel vids iv seen in a while, if ever. Ash, this was so beautifully done. Your editing is simplistic yet gorgeous, and the song for Castiel, IS TO FREAKIN PERFECT. Having a good little sob here. This is so beautiful, the story of Castiel really summed up and the hole he's dug for himself. A tragedy that you have interpreted so brilliantly. The look that Dean and Cas gave each other when Cas was in the ring of fire and Dean leaving, destroyed me! Bravo!!

Ok, firstly, where did you get this glorious, rip-like download of 620? It's beautiful. Makes my heartbreak even woooorse somehow. Secondly...omg this was stunning. Just...ugh. So beautiful. This song fit him to a tee and I just can't get over your lyrical interpretation, it was perfect. The pacing and coloring, also gorgeous. I love it when vidders match the words of a song to an event that happened in the show that if you didn't watch the show, you wouldn't really notice that they were matching the words of the song (or voiceovers) to events. Like when Dean said 'you had a choice, you just made the wrong one' and then you show Crowley burning. Did that make any sense? Point is, I love this vid! <3

On another note, which happens to be of no importance or interest to anyone, but I just feel like telling it (Oh, the wonder of YouTube.) I hate Rubik's Cubes. I am fairly good at puzzles, but I suck at solving these and I cannot just let go and leave them in a state of disorderly chaos. So it always takes me MONTHS to solve them. Love the song, though :)

That last quote just makes me tear up. I also found the song to be kind of ironic: 'I'm like a kid who just won't let it go', when Dean calls him a child, and you really captured that.
