the only cure for driving fear is " DRIVING a car " , i used to be very nervous and scared about driving , but i decided to drive cause i'm a guy and even girls drive , so even if i was nervous , i drove , and the fear disappeared once i accelerated the first time and the car moved , please do believe me you won't feel any fear once you drive , it's amazing , you'll wonder why you were scared !!! it really works believe me and it's the only real cure !!

there are also people who have the fear of driving over bridges. but i think that fear is valid! just refer to the website of the American Society of Civil Engineers where they say 27.1% of bridges in the US are structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.

Also, the 2008 strategic plan of the Federal Highway Administration says that 25% of the bridges in the US are classified as deficient.
