  • glad to hear anarchist across the ocean are having fun too.

  • Quote: Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

  • Hey is that his girlfriend or sister?

  • Not surprising that liberals are all for forcing the taxpayer to pay their student loans for their worthless degrees. Most of them don't pay income taxes anyway.

If they had any common sense they would be protesting in front of their beloved leaders house and on the steps of the capital. To keep the average worker from feeding their family shows how stupid and indoctrinated they truly are.

  • the lack of focus and common sense! mayor quan should have never let these airheadS squat on city property! the city with an already low tax revenue base, has to flip the bill for assholes who cant even clean up their own shit! THIS DOES NOT BENEFIT INVESTMENT IN OAKLAND! but alot of you dont even think about that! because YOUR NOT EVEN FROM OAKLAND! you come here? why? take that shit to the wealthier CITIES! FREMONT,MILPITAS,WALNUT CREEK,CONCORD,UNION CITY! we donT have any MAJOR RETAIL STORES!

  • Does noone sense a bias in this report?!

  • @willsbanana everything has a bias but the TYT is the best

  • Who the fuck are all these brown people? Where do they come from?

  • Useless whiney brats protesting and causing mahem. Cant wait to see the police nationwide, using teargas and rubber bullets on them. They need a beat-down.

  • "this was a peaceful protest that turned violent......."

doesn't that make it a violent protest?

  • THIS SHIT SOUNDS LIKE POLICE...FUCK THEM...

  • Occupy Oakland, wall street movement = irresponsible youth with a sense of entitlement.

  • infiltrate bads guys among peaceful / usual way , police acts worldwide

  • anarchists are fucking idiots. anarchists != 99%.

  • @Thrashaero no?

  • I was just watching FOX News for laughs and apparently we OWS Protesters found a way to Seal Peoples Souls By Beating Them In a Children's Card Game. seriously I thought we were at least 6 months away from Project Orichaicos....?

  • Mclovin ??

  • You anarchist are a fuckign DUMB lot. Like the theists. But I digress.

You people try to fight the power, yet you seem to do it through destruction. Which is in total contradiction to what you're actually trying to accomplish.

    Dummies.

  • I just listened to a cop who infiltrated the movement saying that one of the reasons they do it is so they get some people to do what they want them to do. I'm not saying that's what happened, but I'm saying that the seed could have been planted.

  • This is revolution. there is no such thing as respecting certain rules.

Castro started by burning down his own property in Cuba.

    Revolution means change.

  • im glad they broke windows ! go 99% fuck every one else

  • As stupid as the tea party may be you have to give them credit where due:

    1) there was never a riot, ever, despite the mass size

    2) they knew where you protest for government change: at government locations, not marketplaces.

    3) they never disrupted commerce in an attempt to force other to boycott businesses.

Occupy could never state this again. And it is only going to escalate without real leadership.

OWS is possibly the dumbest political movement since the Bolshevik Revolution.

  • @MachShot1337

    1) There wasn't a riot. The police sent people to infiltrate, and the OWS people then proceeded to clean it up

    2) Tea Party protested the incorrect places, which is why the gov didn't send the cops to break it up. Tea Party was bought and derailed into nonsence missions like asking for Obama's birth certificate.

    3) They knew nothing about their cause, were riddled with racists, carried firearms, proclaimed traitorous hate speech, threatened the president, and wanted a theocracy.

  • @LobsterPotsticker List Battle? List Battle.

    1) The police has handled this poorly in LA and NYC, but you're implying conspiracies without evidence.

    2) How the hell is the epicenter of capital hill and the surrounding areas of state capitals an incorrect place unworthy of guardship?

    3) What does legally carrying arms have to do with anything?

    4) An OWS defender claiming the TP's "knew nothing about the cause" is possibly the greatest "pot calling the kettle black" blunder of the century.

  • @MachShot1337

    1) tyt has a video about the police channeling troublemakes to that area. also vandalism is strickly against the OWS creed. anyone insighting such things are not apart of the movement and openly denounced

2)Washington=owned by corporations. protesting in front of a gov building does nothing. they are the workers. Reaserch the way the mafia works, because that's how the bankers are running this town

3)teaparty was 100x more "threatening" but no crackdown

    4)either joking or retarded

  • @LobsterPotsticker Basically the Tea Party protested about nonexistent problems like Socialism, Communism and the president is going to take our fire arms. Every once and awhile someone will mention the debt but then it will spiral off into talks of Socialism.

  • I bet these people are paid by the elite to come in and disrupt things. Don't believe that? Go look up COINTELPRO. They were dividing activists, slandering them, and even murdering them in the 60's. It will be no different this time.

  • Ugh, liberals...

  • @LobsterPotsticker No what? Are you denying that this show is just moronic liberal spin? Wake up, kiddo.

  • @GroddGuerrilla It's progressive. they criticize the democrats all the time and rip on them.

    WAKEUP

  • Typical liberal public relations damage control. Blame some mysterious unidentified people with no supporting evidence.

  • Little fucking spoiled bitches... Probably the children of a bunch of rich assholes in San Francisco who are pissed that daddy doesn't love them.

  • The messages were good.

    "Who are you protecting?"

    "We're watching you too..."

  • kind of makes you less juge the tea party less harshly for all the rasists that went to there ralies.

  • @celestialsalamander You watch way to much TYT if you think racism has ANYTHING to do with the Tea Party. That's just stupid.

  • Wait didnt they say the people who vandalized had bandanas over their faces???

    4:10 GET THEM!!!!!!

  • The easiest way to shutdown a peaceful protest is to turn it violent. All the 1 percent has to do is hire a bunch of hoodlums to up-rise trouble during a peaceful protest. Problem solved. Money corrupts and destroys good will.

  • @Sun6Tzu I know. We owe our jobs to poor people. Poor people have created millions of jobs. We should confiscate the rich's properties and give them all to the poor people.

  • @juicyappleish Nothing should be given to anyone. There's no incentive if it is given. Money is made from jobs, but education is what creates jobs. Yet higher education costs more money. In truth, the system is made to segregate society until the higher educated and more wealthy become fewer and harder for the poor to attain. The monetary system is flawed itself. The great depression or the communist revolution. All problems in the world today all go back to money. Money is the root of all evil.

  • @Sun6Tzu Ok. Let's look at the situation without money. Without money people will just barter. Money is just a means of exchange. People will still exchange even without money. Imagine buying a cellphone with a live cow.

  • @juicyappleish That would be all fine if money was only used for purchasing and selling objects, however money is also used to sell and buy services. This is what causes corruption and unfairness. The most popular form is called bribery.

  • @Sun6Tzu That's the reason we libertarians advocate for a limited role of Government in the economy. If you give Government the power to impose subsidies, grants, tariffs, price controls, etc. businessmen will buy those power with money.

  • @juicyappleish I agree with you because corporation's only interest is to produce more profit, in situations where it's money vs environment. Money always wins. Things like the BP oil spill would not have happened if there was some form of government regulation. Greedy war profiteers in the Military Industrial Complex wouldn't be able to promote and encourage war in order to make millions/billions. But common sense always fails because idiots scream government regulation is FASCIST OR COMMUNIST!

  • @juicyappleish Yes because that went so well in Russia.

That would make the rich poor and poor less poor so then you would have to redistribute again.

  • Living like rats. They should go join their kind in Libya.

  • This article is essential for understanding the Oakland actions from an anarchist perspective:

"In Defense of the Revolutionary Politics and Actions of Occupy Oakland"

    Google it.

  • Someone needs to read this poor girl some anarchist philosophy.

  • Anarchists? Anarchy does not mean chaos, it means no form of government/ no supreme ruler.

  • The anarchists are cop agents. TYT can get its teeth into the 'black bloc' movement and expose it for what crap it really is. Don't let Al Gores 'Current 'money soften you guys up now. In Toronto during G20 the anarchists got cop protection.

  • damn Ana was in oakland? I should have went there

  • MIGHT BE IT WAS,NT PROTESTERS WHO DID THIS. SOMEONE NEEDS TO FIND THE TRUTH.

  • IF the violence was caused by legitimate protesters and not planted instigators, property destruction is a form of activism, and it would be one thing if it were against Bank of America or Citi, but don't destroy the property of your supporters. That's just counterproductive.

  • I bet those nut sacks that did this are a bunch of people paid by the Koch brothers to make the movement look bad.

  • @Newenlightenmentnow Or it could just be idiots. Next time, people really need to unleash the whup-ass on these people.

Once they start acting like tards, they're no longer your own.

  • @whenindoubtdo Could be, but given that the right has a track record of doing things like this, I wouldn't put it past them. For example that idiot who decided to storm the air and space museum and got pepper sprayed by the cops. He was trying to get legitimate protesters to do it with him, and nobody took the bate. I wish he would have gotten a beat down too.

  • @bistnenutte Cenk hasn't been particularly against Ron Paul, he even said Paul was one of the few Congressmen who "isn't bought". He's just stated the facts, like when Ron Paul was asked about his uninsured employee who died. He then left it up to the viewers to decide if they still supported him.

  • The Agent Provocatuers are at it again. I hope that the "Occupy Oakland" protestors are getting themselves organized with a semi-heiarchial format.

The OO folks should at least get organized enough to target and isolate these anarchists and let them know in very certain terms that they are not welcome. If this doesn't happen soon, this movement will be subverted & dissolved before it even had a chance to have a great effect on this country.

  • amatures try looking up chilean protests thats real street violence 0___0

  • Fuck these fucking assholes that were destroying random property. The 99% movement needs to separate themselves from these shit stains.

Go go civil disobedience. Go go protesting the broken system. But seriously. Stop being stupid.

  • These guys are jumping the gun, there is no need for violence with good upstandind citizens i.e those shops that accually support the movment. You assholes should organize and use some of that rage when it is needed against those who deserve it.

  • I was reading about what happened from people who were there as it was happening there. He said the black hatters from Berkley organized the attacks. The property damage was being organized by older members on location directing the younger ones. Also, some of the peaceful protesters telling them to stop were being attacked by groups of the anarchists. They got this on video if you want to search for it.

  • THE YOUNG TURDS,as usual trying desperately to be relavent

  • @100crawma

Great joke. No really. How long took it to come up with that?

  • Anarchists? They hit Tulley's and abandoned buildings. lol

  • @jrob9inson Most of these 'anarchists' are just people who get boners from setting things on fire. They don't have any realistic agenda. They just want to burn shit and look cool doing it. Boredom's a helluva drug.

  • The night time is when these cowards come in and start all the bullshit! This is why we must shut them down!!

  • I think this was the Tea Party's doing to make us look like a bunch of dicks...!

  • @METALMAN4Wii ... Maybe but think about something. They are as interested in seeing change as you are. They do it more politically then a protest does, if you understand what I mean. Like I said earlier, I think someone in the secrete society like the Globalists or someone that does not want to see the change happen. Like banks for example. You know what I mean?

  • @themistknight1 I say maybe 10% of the Tea Party hates the way banks run our government. but the other 90% are just pissed we have a black president who frankly is a better REPUBLICAN than Bush was....!

  • @METALMAN4Wii You don't need the Tea Party to make you look like a bunch of dicks.

  • @FactChecking101 Oh snap one of Glenn Beck's fans escape from the Mental Ward and is on here. someone trace the ISP and send him back where he belongs...!

  • @METALMAN4Wii Point proven.

  • @METALMAN4Wii Really? The 55 year old white guy business owners are jumping in to destroy and vandalize? Please stop building conspiracies because many people will actually believe them.

  • @stebecool Did I say it was the business owners no I didn't. ps don't listen to the voices in your head there not your friend...!

  • @METALMAN4Wii Then who is it? Just the ones who support capitalism? They're too busy working and living a real life to waste time trying to "infiltrate" you people. Have you noticed that the tea partiers gather for a while and then go home at the end of the day? It's because they have to go home to take a shower and go to work the next morning.

  • @stebecool Ok let me ask you a question there chief, do you think it's right that the top 1% are trying to buy away your rights to a Democracy ? oh this has been proven by a leaked Citibank memo btw, and as for the Tea Baggers. they go home because that's when there shift is up there being paid you fool wake up. this is class warfare if you're not with us you're against everything that American once stood for aka a Democracy....!

  • @METALMAN4Wii I agree that there is corruption and the tea party doesn't disagree. Subsidies, loopholes and special treatment for certain companies are against everything free-marketers and capitalism stands for. We have common ground there. I've been to a tea party rally. No one paid me and no one I met was paid to be there. We know for certain that unions have taken advantage of OWS. They've made their presence known. Moving toward communism isn't what American democracy has ever stood for.

  • @stebecool Then why the hell are you against us then ? oh and ps the buses t-shirts and hot meals your group enjoys. is all paid for by the banks and koke brothers oh and let me guess you're against renewable fuel such as bio-fuel too....?

  • @METALMAN4Wii I only agree with OWS on that one point. I hate the nanny-state element that believes jobs are a "right" and that nothing needs to be earned and the avoidance of personal responsibility for your own welfare. I'm against big government and the disruptive OWS actions (blocking streets/ports/etc). Tea partiers aren't working for food, that's for sure. I don't support subsidies for bio-fuel. There are other cheap domestic energies to use until that becomes economically practical (if).

  • @METALMAN4Wii America is more democratic now than it ever was. Back in the early days only a small fraction of people were eligible to vote, and we couldn't vote for senators, and presidential elections were purely theoretical as the electoral college was not dependent on state votes. Back then virtually every position was patronage. Parties owned territories like gangs.

But you're just mad some people make more money than you, and would rather ask for handouts then pose actual economic plans.

  • sounds to me like a black flag psi op with 2 main objectives: 1- make the protestors seem violent, and 2- target businesses which support the protests and whittle away support from the local business community.

Just saying what it looks like, not saying it's actually the case. I mean, it's not like there's a conspiracy or anything.... *wink*

  • Fake 'anarchists' are the bane of peaceful protest in the modern era, these middle class children remove credibility from every mass protest. It's so annoying...

  • The one thing that this accomplishes. Is it gets people talking. So, in that regard, well done. Also, notice the limited coverage of major news corporations...yeah. They are afraid of us. Fuck the corporate world, awaken the people and bring chaos to this corporatism plastic shell we call a world.

  • Comment removed

  • They were probably undercover cops trying to start riots

  • SAME THING IN LONDON THIS YEAR WITH THE TOTTENHAM RIOT'S,WHERE IN THE BEGGING IT WAS POSITIVE THEN LOOTING JUST OCCURED

  • @ILoveBarcaNumberOne Remember that the same people that really control this country control London too. So, I would not be shocked in NYC groups start to have problems too. Think about, NYC has been peaceful by the protesters part since the get go, from what I seen on the web. Let there one incident and the Corporate Media will be all over that in a second and will likely call unjust-fully as well.

  • Anarchist group what a contradiction (A) Ya I wanna here moor from The Turks about this horrible anarchist group what is it that they are trying to demonstrate Jefferson said a little anarchy is good for the country the Turks are doing the same thing as regular media I didnt know that anarchy is plain destruction thats how it sounds to me .

  • Anarchist group what a contradiction (A)

  • Anarchists? /sigh.

A few of you might have seen red/black, or black flags on this channel's videos of protests. People holding those flags are anarchists. The fact that TYT is acting like anarchists are separate from the protest and always at fault for violence is ridiculous. Were the vandals anarchists? I don't know, maybe. But how bout waiting to find out who these people ARE before telling us what political ideology they subscribe to?

  • “Every reform movement has a lunatic fringe.”

    ― Theodore Roosevelt

  • I feel like the small group that's ruining it for us, are actually against us..

  • The idiots who say they don't know what the movement is protesting don't really WANT to know. They don't want to listen and they're willfully ignorant about Occupys' grievences, which are plain to see if you just LEARN a little bit. Also, I love the dumbass pundits in the media that have said the movement will fizzle once winter starts. Lol You WISH motherfuckers. You wish.

  • @ridewave444 haha....

  • Why do anarchist always feel the need go and run a muck in any peaceful demonstration.

  • I think that the secret society it at it again. It seems that the someone had created a group to make the mass look bad. I am not sure how to write what I am thinking. I am willing to bet, that someone paid a someone to be a bad apple.

  • @themistknight1 that's exactly what I'm getting out of this

  • I think we should now follow the advice of Samuel Adams who told the people of Mass, to 1st peacefully protest the tax structure, so that only after they were not listened to did they become Vandals, destroy the tea, burn the ship, & block the ports

The protestors have a problem w/ the income equality, but the Committee of 12 may be about to raise the taxes on the top 1% & that will help -- if they are not listening, the only alternative may be to turn violent

  • Fuck. There goes their credibility.

  • less talk more tear gas and rubber bullets, fuck these lazy protestors

  • @100crawma fuck you

  • @klyzn it shouldn't be hard to go online and find resources to learn about OWS... occupywallst dotorg and the wikipedia article have decent general descriptions. watch more of the young turks and you'll understand what we're angry about.

  • spray painting on walls isn't violent though...now what the cops are doing on the other hand....

  • cops in many protests have been caught causing riots and even dressing as anarchists and doing this. they are doing this for reason to attack the protesters they are cops!

  • Anarchists rioting against the cops.. Oh my god, it's finally happening.

  • LOL... So, it is the COPS fault these idiots wrecked these buildings huh? "They didn't know what to do". Oh so the logical thing is ransack buildings! Of course! TYT actually embrace these morons! Why? because they want socialisms just like these punks! If these idiots had everything they hope to gain then American would be Cuba! I'd give any of these idiots 1 week in Cuba before they would flee back to America and kiss Wall-Street! This is the result of America's failed education system!

  • @aSingleDallasGuy Actually, the saboteurs were probably individuals like yourself who are either a part of the so called 1%, or one of their misled tools.

  • @3MARSAURELIUS ... Don't forget that they might be space aliens that the govt is holding secret at Area 51! LOL I am the 53%. You know, someone who pays taxes. I know that is foreign to you. I am also part of the 91%. You know someone who has a job! Very foreign to you! I am also part of the 82%. You know people who take showers and baths daily. Definitely foreign to you. I am also part of the 60%. You know people who realize your hero Obama is the worst president in US Hirtory! idiot!

  • @aSingleDallasGuy Classic!

  • @aSingleDallasGuy - Insulting somone you don't even know again. They may in fact be part of the 53%, 91% and 82% as I am, who pays taxes, has a job and showers daily. What's ludicrous is that I saw another comment of yours warn someone of ASS-uming something, but that is exactly what you did here...3 times! Careful putting your foot in your mouth. One day you may not be able to dislodge it! Immature, adolescent response on your part, don't you think? Go ahead, insult me...and prove my point!

  • @CSILogic.You dare me to insult you after you insult me? LOL.... Liberals ought to charge people for reading their posts as they are so funny! I guess I'm drawn to you idiots because it's hard to imagine any human being can be so stupid. I should submit you as living proof that Chuckie Darwin had it exactly backwards! LOL So tell me how OWS views trump everyone else's and how John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, etc... all had it so wrong! Yet YOU (some jackass on youtube) knows the real way! LOL

  • @aSingleDallasGuy - No, just telling you the truth in how are responding and behaving. You spend so much time ANTAGONIZING others, and when someone calls you on it, you just launch more insults? I'm giving you credit that are smarter than your adolescent-like, immature comments show. But apparently you are not smart enough to realize you not articulating them in a way to make anyone really listen to you. Sounds like you have some serious psychological issues that you need to have treated.

  • @CSILogic ... awww did i hurt your widdle feelings? What's the matter am I standing in your way of your dream to have total govt control and power? A govt to run your life for you since you obviously can't run it yourself? A govt that "controls" capitalism as YOU see fit? A govt that shakes down other's on the behalf of failures? A govt that makes every decision for you? Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, etc... had it all wrong right? Only you (some jackass on youtube) knows better! LOL

  • I remember Canada had a riot during a WTO meeting. Apparently it was undercover agents who instigated violence to justify a police action to disburse the crowd. What if that is the case on Oakland?

  • @AndrzejWLipski, I remember Canada had a huge riot because the Vancouvor Canucks lost the Stanley Cup. Alot of Canadians were embarrassed by that. Rioting over a hockey game is pretty stupid. Much like Los Angelos rioting because of the Lakers.

  • @AndrzejWLipski I really do think that people should follow the ones doing this to see if they are undercover.

  • @AndrzejWLipski No they're just jackasses... take off your tin foil hat.

9-11 truthers have more validity than your claims do

  • @AndrzejWLipski they already had reports of cops doing that in NY couple weeks ago

  • I am the 51%. The 51% who dont blame others for their shortcomings. The 51% who dont riot in the streets when THEIR life didn't turn out how they thought it would. The 51% who go to work everyday, not wanting the government to 'help' them, but to only stay out of their way. The 51% who are to busy in their life to 'demonstrate' or 'occupy'. I am the 51% who get nothing from the government, and wouldn't have it any other way. The 51% who are still proud to be an American.

  • @corksterism the sad 51% that doesn't want to wake up and see reality. you don't have time because you are a slave to their system, but are some what content with that fact. that's why it will only get worse before it gets any better

  • @msgephsy keep telling yourself that,...and in 20 years, when your running around still complaining that 'the system' is the reason your life never went anywhere, just remember what I said,....

  • haha an ad for wells fargo came on before the vid started...irony...

  • Agents Provocateurs

    /watch?v=St1-WTc1kow

  • Meant metalslug

  • Rocky you sound like a real cunt

  • The problem is that TYT make believes what the "movement is about" in attempted hijackings of people's frustrations. They believe they can steer and control this "movement" by pretending to be the voice of the movement.

The FACT is that the "99%" are a very diverse group of people with a range of ideologies regarding the purpose of government. TYT nor Fox News nor anyone can pretend to represent all people in the "movement". It is the entire collective pissed off and you can't appeal to every1.

  • FAKE Anarchist are Cops wearing Masks don't be fooled.

  • One man on Wall Street made $5 BILLION DOLLARS last year

That's $400 MILLION DOLLARS per month

That's $100 MILLION DOLLARS per week

That's $20 MILLION DOLLARS per day

Yes, he made more in 1 day than you'll make in a lifetime & yet paid a tax rate of only 15%

NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE PISSED

  • On another note, where the fuck is our Democratic leadership?

  • Wow look at that!!! An occupier who CAN get a job if they tried.

  • We saw the same type of thing in Egypt... anti-protest forces can cause disruption.

  • good thing windows don't cost much at all.

  • Rules? what rules ? who is making the rules ? This is war !!! All is fair in war and love.

  • Sorry but with the mis reporting of the population of the crowd and other Media propaganda about the protesters. I have to take it with a grain of salt that they claim occupy protesters took part in anarchistic behavior. Why no surveilance video if it was such an impressive crowd destroying shit like in London when they had their riots? Whats the lowest amount of ppl it would of taken to do all the damage to the windows and graffiti and some fires? Media covers this but not 50k crowd?

  • @Bigbird5553 Media propaganda? Most of the media has been under reporting the true nature of a lot of the protesters. Do not forget that like many of the protesters Pol Pot was also a educator. After listening to many of these protesters it seems that many do not even know what they want and the rest just want the gov to hold their hand because they can't handle their business.

  • @SuperBigblue19 actually when i watch these videos i see a lot saying the same things. fix the tax rate, term limits, no more lobbying, stop printing more money, fair trade, USA needs manufacturing jobs, shore up the borders, etc. then there is always the dumbass saying get a job, calling these people bums even though a week earlier that same dumbass was telling people how obama/bush/clinton etc ruined America and got rid of jobs, wheres the solution? you have none your so your voice is invalid.

  • outside from the obvious i want to ask, if you dont want to participate, if you dont have a solution then why come here and bash people?

    .

. thats about as 2nd grade as you can get. i see the stupidest insults on here that make me realize why the gov dont care about sending some to war, its like they know we are dealing with brain dead hatemongers.

  • @SuperBigblue19 it's about being upset that the banks got bailed out.... they the system is rigged.. and money in politics. Money that buys corporations unfair advantages. Simple as that. The MEDIA makes its money off of the corporations that advertise with them. The corporations that are being protested..... why would you take anything they have to say as 100% anyhow? The protesters know what they are about and want.... it's people like you who don't know, because they haven't looked.

  • Ana, wanna shack up with me in a tent at Occupy ? I think it will be very romantic.

  • They were encouraged to peacefully protest the tax situation, but when they were iignored, they became Vandals, destroyed the tea, burnt the ship, closed ports & became more violent

Today they protest the increasing income & wealth disparity which results in less opportunity -- that could be corrected by putting tax rates on the rich where they were in prior yrs

But Ryan, Cantor Romney & Cain want a tax code that will make the disparity greater & will result in Vandals doing violence

  • @DillonDee1 Really? Guess who pays? Even as tax rates have fallen by half over the past quarter-century, taxes paid by the wealthy have increased. Lower tax rates have made the tax system more progressive, not less so. In 1980, for example, the top 5 percent of income earners paid only 37 percent of all income taxes. Today, the top 1 percent pay that proportion, and the top 5 percent pay a whopping 57 percent.

The bottom 50% pay a whopping 3% The facts, not MSNBC brainwashing

  • @SuperBigblue19 -- dont be brainwashed by FOX

I'd gladly welcome a tax code that had the top 1% paying 37% of ALL taxes but you & I know that's not happening

As an independent businessman I pay 1,000 times+ the social security tax rate of the top1%

That also applies to most of the more than 200 other taxes we have in our nation

An exception might be the Fed Gas Tax - especially if they have a yacht that costs more than $200,000.00 to top off the tank

  • 'the Wall Street man who made $5 BILLION DOLLARS last yr paid a tax rate of 15%

The janitor who picked up his trash & mopped his floor & the maid who scrubbed the smelly brown shit from his toliet bowl paid around 30%

Now do you understand why they are protesting

  • @JimboVids Actually it has been peaceful UNTIL police action gets involved. A mole for the police who was alerting police to unarmed peaceful gatherings was ousted from the protests within the last week, a veteran was injured, another killed and an elderly woman beaten - all by police action while unarmed. Remember Democratic National Convention of 1968 when 8 police officers and 8 civilians were tried for inciting a riot - resulting in several convictions. We see what we are allowed to see.

  • Ana has legs!!! Woah!

  • so were is the governor oh ya living up his asshole

  • Comment removed

  • This protest has NEVER been peaceful, from day #1. Stupid liberal hippies don't even know what the fuck they're protesting.
