  • Magnesium against the epigastric pain; its brilliant.

Don't eat any big meals, 10 small meals a day and drink antacids after all meals, and before you go to bed. I promise it will helo (if you didnt deliver yet??)

    good luck

  • what do you mean... kick counts...?

  • Kick counts are when you lay for an hour or two depending on your doctor and count how many times the baby moves within that time.

  • For your hospital bag, make sure you bring a robe and comfy clothing for you, as soon as I could I was able to change into my own clothing and get rid of the hospital bag. Also, don't forget pads, I totally did and had to get my mom to bring some for me.

  • if you can get WIC, they will give you a really good breast pump for free. I've had it for 5 years and it still works like the day it showed up at my door.

  • I usually order pics from Shutterfly online and have ordered posters, enlarged pics, videos, wedding announcements and save the date cards from there before too. The cards come with envelopes and the you can choose different borders and everything. Overall, I think their picture quality is pretty good. They have different borders for birth announcements too, so check it out.

  • haha formula companies giving out free formula. Not everyone gets stretch marks you know, I never got any on my belly. . . but was five weeks early! I was due Oct 9 (mine and John Lennon's bday) and had him Sept 4. I have no advice on what to take cause I took NOTHING with me to the hospital. (emergency cesarian!) I loved the hospital jammies and mesh undies though.

  • I think it is different for everyone, because I was so comfy in the hospital gown. It was loose, and I didn't have to pull down my pants to potty, and with those HUGE pads you have to wear, I liked being "free" if you know what I mean. lol. I loved the Mesh panties they give you too. So you may end up finding that they aren't so bad.

  • All I have to say is pregnancy suits you! You look gorgeous! I am so happy for you! You have been through so much and you are so deserving of this miracle! What a helpful hospital...mine sent me...nothing! Lol

  • ..also if you decide to give breastfeeding a chance( I loved every minute of it ) it would be a good idea to get a special nipple cream to keep moisturized between feedings...

  • Bring something to entertain yourself if you're staying more than one night. I stayed 2 nights with my natural births and 3 nights with my c-section and even though the babies were in the room with me I got bored, i.e. when the babies were sleeping or I wasn't actively doing something for them. There's only so many channels on those TVs. I suggest a book or some cards. Videos if you have something to watch them on.

  • yeah we are bringing our laptops so I can get online and keep busy lol

  • I exclusively breast feed and Henry is 4 months and I don't ever need to pump--especially now since I am a stay at home mom. I do have a Medela one that I got for free and it works great--I just don't need it. I wouldn't buy one unless you know you will use it -or check craigslist. You can buy new parts for $50 at Baby's R Us.

  • My sister got a medela pump from her friend for me and yah they said the same thing just buy new hoses etc! Most hospitals sell parts for medela pumps too lol!

  • I also bought a new pack of cheap granny panties. lol I was pretty sure I'd need a c-section, so I bought underwear that would go over the incision, and would be comfortable. The mesh "undies" they have at the hospital aren't much fun. I basically wanted as much of my own stuff as I could have, and it really helped me feel better. Oh, and my own towel. Theirs are rough. I think that's all! lol

  • Yeah Im going to bring a few pads, undies, and nightgowns with me. Those hospital ones are too thin lol

  • I think I brought my whole house with me to the hospital, it was ridiculous, but the things I used were the boppy, pads (sometimes the hospital ones aren't great), baby wipes (mine didn't have wipes) pillow for hubby, blankets for the hubby and I (we have fleece ones my MIL made that aren't huge) and my own sleep t shirt type nightgowns. (I could not WAIT to get out of the hospital gowns! And I bought 2 of them at Walmart for less than $10 each.)

  • Yes!!!! ugh but i was so annoyed at trying the attempts to leave you a video response that i was like oh heck no i quit haha why does it cutt you off sometimes and then others goes for however long? neways ill do another video on that! i dont even know if you can truly get one or not.

  • ok to answer your OTHER question about breast pumps my mom brought a breast pump that was called Lansinoh its a double electric breast pump when my mom buys things..she always reads customer reviews on everything and when she bought it this one had the best reviews...this was only last novemeber i don't know how much things have changes since then but it worked GREAT! hope you have luck finding one you want :)

  • Hey to answer your question about Birth announcements...If you shop at WalMart i dunno if you do but if yours has a photo center..and a picture station to print your own pictures they have a few cute birth announcements

  • yay congrats 3rd trimester you are getting there!!!!!!!!

  • 3rd trimester...way to go...........i am so happy for u and aaron...cute belly pics...

  • Hey Sasha... I've heard that the Medela Pump In Style pump is awesome... I think it's about $250, but I've also heard that a lot of insurance companies will cover at least part of it. As for other breastfeeding supplies, everyone that I've talked to or read reviews from says go with Lansinoh for nursing pads, cremes, etc... hope that helps! It's so exciting!

  • Yahay for week 27. Your belly button is so cute. :) I think my baby likes your voice cos he was kicking like crazy when I played your vlog, he stopped everytime I pressed "pause" and I tried this quite a few times to make sure too. lol

  • chapstick...I have been told it is a necessity.

  • The maxi pads, and breast pads as well for you. A calling card just in case you can't get good service in the hospital and you can call your family that live far away. I was told to bring some sugar free candies to suck on for the time you aren't allowed to eat or drink much. If I think of anything else I'll let you know lol

  • Well I'm UK but Avent elec breast pump was brill. U pump manually in any rythum you want and then press button and it carrys on automatically. Its about £70 so prob around $140 - $200 I'd guess but not sure with shipping etc. The only recomendation I have is in labour, walk lots. Worst thing to lay there. Gravity helps! I walked all over hosp grounds with 1st as induced (6hrs labour)& refused to go in till close with daughter. Walked for miles around where I live! Went in at 7cm... 4 hr labour

  • I got my single medela swing pump for 149, and I have heard nothing but good things about it, so check that out

  • Breast pads reagular pads. nipple cream if u breast feed.

  • cont 2...

also for breast feeding ask your hospital for Lansinoh cream it'll help with soreness that comes with breastfeeding.. ok thats about all I can think of for you, I will check those websites and let you know what I find out for you about the breastpumps. When i say they are used, that only means the motor, you get brand new everything else, tubes , bottles etc.,..so its safe, sanitary and ALOT cheaper! lots of love :0)

  • cont...

you may also want to bring pads for your bra, to take care of any leakage. ok so as far as breast pumps, you can find them used at second hand stores that carry baby/maternity things. also I have a couple of website we give out, I'll check them out and see if its something you can use in your state. also you may consider renting one., until you can save up enough to buy one. For myself I went in on one with my sister, my baby passed away but I'll get to use it someday and spent 1/2

  • Im so sorry to hear about your angel. My prayers are with you....

  • so Ive been watching your vids for awhile and never commented before, but felt like I should this time as I work in Labor & Delivery. Put ur ins card & license also I suggest getting some of your own pads night time or biggest size you can find. otherwise you'll be using the diaper pads at the hospital, which arent bad BUT are kinda uncomfortable. Take a baby nail clippers or gloves because your lil guy may come out with some long nails...it happens and the hospital usually wont give u clippers

  • i got one from wic. your bell is so cute. you sre not that big.

  • yay, 3rd trimester!!!!

  • pads, pillows, and book on birth u didn't add

  • U didn't add pillows, pads,lotion , book on birth to read

  • Something else a friend told me might be nice to bring (definitely not a necessity) is a puzzle or game (like the travel kind or deck of cards). I know, this sounds weird too LOL, but she said this for two reasons...if labor is long, a game is something to help pass the time. Also, it's something to help get your mind relaxed in the beginning. Every labor/delivery is different, so I don't even know if I'll feel like doing anything but lay there, but it'll be nice to have just in case!

  • Have you taken a breastfeeding class?

I'd love to know if anyone suggests other items for your hospital bag!

Another item to add...your Boppy pillow for breastfeeding.

Two of my friends had to push for a long time (2-3 hours...ugh!) and because it's easy to get discouraged during those times, they suggested bringing a small mirror to set on a table so you can see what's going on. Sounds weird, but I thought I'd mention it anyway!

  • Have you tried Zantac? Up until the past week or so, Tums have done the trick, but I've noticed that it comes back quicker lately.

Etsy has some really awesome birth announcements. There are people who do handmade ones that you put the pic in yourself...and then also ones that are digital where you pay the person $15-20 and then you get them printed at Walmart or whatever. I made my own digital ones, which I felt would be easiest on me when the time comes!

  • She also does videos for new moms. You look great! Good luck on the next quilt..Im sure the one you already made looks great. Anything homemade is great.

  • OMG. I got first view...thats never happend before.

Ive use Sears portrait studios before and they were great. You get to pick the photos to use and they have newborn portrait packages that are adorable..I think they do birth announcements too. As for the breastfeeding stuff Im not so sure. Do you watch xxxjoelpolexxx videos. Lucy (the new mom) does videos and product reviews and baby products. I think she did one on a breastpump. Her videos are great. If you get a chance take a look...
