Met Paul Brady a few days ago in Matt Molloy's bar in Westort, he was a true gent and a good laugh too. He was singing and playing with other musicians for the Geantraí Christmas special on TG4. If you're in Ireland, make sure you tune in on Christmas day. I believe it's on at 9pm.

well fair feckin' play to you all!!! your man on fiddle is the 'craic' (he's even got the sligo/leitrim style off...hitting more than one string at a time) and you've got the guitar as percussion down like brady on the 'trio' album; get a flute player and you've captured the rest of the magic on that album (just when we were losing faith with the 'yankees'...some 'plastic' irish music out of the states AND we get that pox-bollix bill o'reilly and 'fecks news' here in ireland/uk now!!)

Doug studied with Tommy Peoples when Tommy was living in Boston for a bit a couple years back. I'm a huge Paul Brady fan and do believe I even play the same model Lowden Guitar (mines a cutaway).
