drive this over a bad road in bolivia and everything inside will fly apart. wait till you get this thing stuck and have to wait weeks for a bulldozer to pull you out.
These vehicles are not top heavy at all. The engine is located behind the cab down inside the frame. In addition, the cab is constructed of carbon fiber and is very light. All the storage tanks and heavy heating systems are also down at the frame level. Look can be deceiving.
I'm getting an ex swiss army G Wagen with roof tent as these babies cost a pretty penny, this would be my dream vehicle though with a couple of mountain bikes on the back and a Zodiac on the roof.
Beautiful rig and it is funny how some people will find something negative. Someone who will buy this will be interested in actually leaving the US and Canada and travel in South America, Africa, the Middle East or Asia where the road quality is not good or there are no roads. For those who truly want to EXPLORE the World
if that were the case, they should buy a "normal" RV fit an LSD and mud and snow tyres
That way they would not have to put up with the high point of entry, noisy tyres, higher fuel consumption, watching all the time for overhead obstacles etc etc I own and have lived in and used to the full extent a very capable 4wd RV, it weighs 4300kg fully loaded and I'm here to tell you that, when you're out in the wilds and you sink one YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN diff locks or not!
looks great. I wish I had the money and time to take it around the world =)

Try to cross the entire length of the Russian Federation with that, I bet it will stop working in the first 3000 kilometers .

Been done, the prototype spent 10 months in South America and didn't have a problem. And that included all across Bolivia.

They need to add protection to the fuel tanks if they plan to really take that off road.

Now if you really want to learn 'capable' 4wd. Try searching for UNIMOG. That's U-N-I-M-O-G
Have some respect with Hercules.
