  • It works, though I wouldn't do it too much. I'm too paranoid about damaging the spindle. Rather shell out the 40 bucks for a mod chip then risk permanently breaking my saturn.

  • if your planing to do something like that then pay to the developer 10$

  • I love you, tell me where you live and i will BANG YOU

  • i fail to see the point of this excersize

  • @dandyboh True, but it's a LOT trickier to get the timing right that way, believe me!

  • I don't understand why do you reset the console, I can use the swap method without resetting during the swap.

  • To burn the Cue files...can i use DVD-R instead of CD-R?

  • Comment removed

  • @Bluestreakteam No you can't, Saturn can't read DVDs. You can't use CD-RW either.

  • Worked on the first try! Thanks!

  • wow this is amazing bro...did it first try...dont know how u figured it out but its by far the best and easiest way ive seen

  • so whats the point here?? U obviusly need the original disck to do this.

    But nice video anyway..

  • @Teknoviirus You don't need the original disc of the same game, but you do need the original disc of something. Any game will work.

  • @lilmul123

  • @Teknoviirus dumbdumb haha

  • so whats the point here??? u obviously need the original disck to pull this off

  • Swap per Sega Saturn perfetto funziona alla perfezione

  • was that a copy of command and conquer by any chance?

  • @figaro589 Yep, the GDI disc.

  • TADAAA !!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • are you using your laptop's webcam as a video camera?

  • lol we use the same fcking game (darius g )

  • Don't do this. It will kill the cd motor in your sega saturn

  • @PKGangsta18 dude... it raped my cd motor lol so i got a new one and mod chip

  • how come you don't have to do this on the dreamcast? all you do there is burn the game and it'll work like you bought it.

  • Sega left a huge loophole in the Dreamcast software that hackers used to boot bootlegs. The Saturn doesn't have any loophole like this, so you have to use the swap trick.

  • because of something called "MIL-CD" format. Sega had some sort of feature that allowed audio CDs to have Dreamcast readable data. Hackers learned they could write a fake audio section and then reformat the game to be read as MIL-CD data. It's a pretty clever workaround and it makes the DC one awesome system to own nowadays thanks to faster internet download speeds.

  • true I have over 20 burnt games cause I'm cheap as shit...

  • @jpsplat I have 50+ copies and back-ups for the Saturn! XD A bunch of imports from Japan though - here in the UK we got fu*k all Saturn wise..

  • @jpsplat there is programing added to to the iso

  • it doesnt work on my model 1

  • I will sue you for ruining my Saturn!

  • If you snatch out the games like that you will destroy your Saturn's motor. You do not need to snatch them. You can remove them casually and swap them. These little kids are so irritating when they try to make this look hard.

  • @majesticlizard That's funny because I'm actually 20 years old. When I did this, I was trying to make it as precise as possible, so excuse me, princess.

  • @lilmul123

Burned with a zelda reference on a sega related title!

    Good job

  • ok i have mt saturn rigged for the tick but when i play a normal game it gos to a screen where it loads the songs but not the game. is my saturn warn or do i have to re tape it? plz respond. Thanks

  • @damayouall Sounds like you have to retape it. If it's doing this, that means it doesn't think the disc is in the drive. Try doing the trick with the top cover off first to make sure it works before you put the cover back on. Don't worry, it's safe. Just make sure you don't look into the CD laser.

  • BEEEST F***ING QUALITY EVER!!!

  • Thanks man, nice idea to use your notebook as a webcam xD

  • What games did you use?

  • I used command and conquer as my backup, and Die Hard Arcade as my actual. It doesn't really matter which actual game you use as long as the outside of the disc can easily be read.
