I miss the towers. I just wished they were still here, because it seemed, that back then, everyone was just happy. Ever since that tragedy, the world is just different. If you think: if the twin towers had each one a very strong core with 47 giant steel columns attached together, how it is posible to pulverize that amount of tons of steel in just 10 seconds ? How it is posible that those steel columns didn't ofeered any resistance ? This was cause of the use of the thermite, and explosive that cuts the steel in a very easy way.

Because it was the floors and their trusses collapsing, not the core. The core collapsed separately, not in 10 seconds.

Both things. The steel of the core below the impact zone was cut, it's easy to know because that part of the core was intact and haven't offered any resistance during the collapse of the building. If you saw videos of the "spire" (parts of the core still standing a few seconds after the collapse) of the north tower you can see how the top is pulverized, and that was steel. Nobody knows an explanation about that effect.

How is that proof of cutting?

Or, it is such that the sum of {(burning jet fuel+steel+other stuff)+ {gravity + a million billion tons(kinetic energy)} + the sum of forces (friction, shearing, compression/tension, and torsion of steel v.s. steel and everything else) = an enormous amount of heat energy, thus molten steel and pulverized matter.

@gokumania - ugh, more Bush blew up the towers crap. You know how they used to make horseshoes? They heated it up first, and then "struck while the iron was hot" to bend the metal. The jet fuel explosion heated the metal, and the jackhammer effect of the top of the towers collapsing/striking down on the lower floors, getting heavier and heavier as it descended on lower floors, bent the metal. Bending metal itself makes it more pliable--try it with a coat hanger--it will eventually break.

@lcozzarelli not if the jet fuel is 4/5 kerosine that not enogh to weaken the steel and  the smoke darkened within 10 minutes so that means the fires cooled off, so if the fires cooled off so did the steel -end of story.

Wow, that video is really good.. I first saw it ages ago, I was a bit emotional seeing it. These two Towers had character, more than the Empire State Building!!
