This seems like the plate armor sets dropping in the Frozen Halls, patch 3.3 5-mans. So ye, u can still get that armor, just not the sword, that is the one u get in the starting area (about third quest or something)

The reason they changed it, was because the gear looked too cool. :) so they degraded it, because when you get to outland, you get like all gear that looks ... well not so cool!^^

no.. if they looked the same in the beta as they do in this alpha video, they look just like everyone else, just with typical crappy-looking northrend greens on. i want to be able to tell my death knight apart from the paladin standing next to her, and that's pretty difficult when half the gear looks the same. the set death knights are created in (the robe) and the blue set we get from quests are definitely better looking than the sad set in this video
