Patrick...as a distillery worker of over 20 years, I think it's a shame that you spelt whisky incorrectly in the title....perhaps worth changing (uisge beatha spelt in 'Scottish' English without an 'e'). Glenfiddich is pronounced with a 'ch' and not a 'k' as you stated. Perhaps you're from the central belt...oh dear! Still, perhaps the foreign punters fall for it!lol Good luck

He doesn't do a very good job of articulating the difference between single malts and blended whiskies, does he? Luckily, he babbles away in Scottish so no one notices.

The difference is without Single Malts

to blend in with the "blended" whiskys

would be all but unpalatable.

One needs the other but the other dont need the one.
