  • very far yet so interesting to learn about it..

  • endless

  • Interesting graphic. I remember Carl Sagan presenting an 'unfinished' version of this at the end of one of his Cosmos programs (re-issued versions). He referred to a sort of 'manlike' configuration that would appear if the map was tilted to our plain of view...

I'd just like to ask however, why do these religious nuts have to spoil this thread? Resign your collective ignorance to posts about topics that you think you know about instead of polluting more insightful posts like this!

  • @scotash You are right! Allah is the creator, and the entire Universe must bow to Allah. Without Islam, every man is indeed a law unto himself. That is why Western civilization has failed. Thank you for agreeing with me.

  • ... How would you know?

  • It's like looking inside a vagina..

  • it boggles my head to think that there is or isn't a limit to the universe. I mean it kind of gets you thinking. is life a dream? it makes you think lots of things.

  • would we still be alone in this tiny universe :/ muahhh

  • Cool

  • @scotash ignorance is bliss aint it..."faith that there is a god".. um prove there is one..

  • @scotash Please don´t bring god/religion to a science debate. I am sick of posts about religion in science videos. I respect each one position but sincerely think what would happen if any youtube god´s video would be saturated of Science commentaries like "science is the only god bla bla bla"...please give me a break.

  • @scotash: No. Absolutely incorrect. We humans make laws governing the behaviour of our fellow humans. Who do you fear more, the guy with the gun pointed right at you or the imaginary friend of the child down the block? Misbehaviour of people who think they are "a law unto themselves" is immediate and from their fellow men. After all, if you need a cage to be good, then you are not a rational and sane individual.

  • In a sense, the odd frothy structure of the universe is less like the aftermath of an "explosion" of a dry solid object and more like the aftermath of an expanding bubble in a liquid. One sees exactly this kind of froth inside the bubble in a boiling fluid or from a water filled baloon rupturing. This fact suggests that, rather than dark matter, perhaps there is some change in gravitation at cosmic scales. It's anough to make one go "Hmmm.."

  • @scotash @scotash - I understand your thinking, but I think the Native Americans and even the dinosaurs would disagree with your feelings. Civilization is just a thin veneer that quickly crumbles during many circumstances such as earthquakes (Haiti), hurricanes (Katrina) or wars (Iraq). All of creation does not prove there is a god or gods. Creation asserts that the universe is full of wondroud life forms, some of whom have evolved enough to try to comprehend it all here on Earth.

  • As the late Mr. Sagan said: We are a way for the universe to know itself. I wish you could enjoy the video instead of trying to get me to drink the Kool-Aide.

  • this should be reuploaded in full HD

  • The best video on the net. This video helps one visualize the multiple verse concept with ease. The theory is that there are as many universes in the infinite space as there are the number of atoms existing in this verse, 10 to the 70th power, and then the verses are repeated. My twin is about 10 to the 115th power miles away. Far out. Read Decoding the Universe, Zero, etc.

  • kickass

  • @doncourtreporter

any other suggested reading? I'm interested

  • @RozzDarkly I can suggest Alpha and Omega, Brian Greene; A brief History of Time, Stephan Hawking; But Decoding the Universe is the best I've ever found for the quasi-scientist like me. It really takes us through the recent history of science, from thermodynamics to particle physics. The universe suddenly became clear to me. My son and I refer to it as the Bible in our home. Ha.

  • @doncourtreporter thanks so much

  • @pwnage0013 - No telescope has or can view these structures. What you are seeing is a 3D plotting of galaxy positions based on measurements of each individual galaxy by a telescope. Once put into a computer program you can move about the 3D plotting of galaxies to see what, if any, structure there may be.

  • What is the Source of the Universe ? In the book Evolution of Physics Einstein and Infeld wrote: We have the laws, but we are not aware what the body of reference system they belong to, and all our physical construction appears erected on sand They are right. Why? Because : The Universe ( as a whole ) is Two- Measured, there are two Worlds: Vacuum and Gravity So, What was before Vacuum or Gravity ? Does Gravity exist in Vacuum or vice versa? No answer
  • This is a religion free video.. I'll also pass on the pamphlets.

  • @cruisemissle2012 And Harry Potter says that there are wizards and witches, what's your point?

  • just simply unbelieveable... couldn't imagine that we're living inside of one ot these "points" :-) and we will never be able to leave our own milky way....very impressive! how tiny we are! thx for the great vid! if somebody has a link to a HD movie like this please let me know!

  • Very interesting

  • Great video, where did you find this?

  • maybe the universe and stars and planets and matter was JUST!

  • Amazing! Thanks for posting this!
