I didn't really like the first Short Circuit because of the bland actors and the severe lack of a plot, but Short Circuit 2 not only creates more of a plot, but it's actually a pretty inspiring and complex plot. There's more emotion, the bland level is at absolute zero.... well, OK, maybe at two or three, but it's not as bland as the first film.... and, as always, Johnny 5 is a very cute and likable character.
