The reason I think Perrie didn't make it solo was because she and Amelia are too similar. They are both blonde, northern and have that rocky edge to them. Amelia was a producer favourite, so it was obvious that she was going to go through. :)
They are all good singers. Perrie may be good at the belting high notes but the other three have strengths which she lacks. Her low register is shakey and therefore have to pass it to Jade or Jesy. Check out Jade Thirwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock's video's. In my opinion Jade is the most versatile singer, she can hit low and high and can throw in the ad libs. Leigh-Anne and Jesy give muscle to their sound. This song probably isn't a good example of it however.

People should stop mentioning that she should be a soloist instead...she should be in a group. There's nothing wrong with that because Groups have a slight advantage over soloists but they gotta work extra harder to connect with the public. Tulisa's an awesome mentor and she really knows how to fight for her acts.
@ebitababy If you have seen their "informal" videos like their video diaries or backstage clips you'll find them with less make up ;), they do look prettier and much younger without or with little makeup.

Yeah, XF US is just as bad, and I'm American. But XF US doesn't have anyone as good as Misha B, so it's a moot point for me. I started downloading episodes of XF UK and watching them in order from the auditions. I made it to Live Show 2 when someone on a message board spoiled the winner. When I found out Little Mix won, I stopped watching and erased the episodes I had already downloaded. Sorry, but I think LM are a horrible joke. What was the UK smoking?
@nightflyre9 If you only made it to live show 2, its easy to see why u think them winning is a joke cos they werent that good back then. If u followed their journey week by week and saw them grow u might understand. Week 4 & 7 they were the best by far. Its not only the performances though, people grew to love them cos of their chemistry together and they are fun girls next door that girls can relate to, not the typical sexy models. Being from the US you might just not get it the same way as us

What's Gary on about? It may not be their best performance but it was still really good. I'm not a fan of the arrangement of the song (and it's not their fault because the arrangement is not done by them) but they sang the song well and it was very much in tune.
I absolutely love little mix! I'd love them in the final 2 with Amelia Lily. I love them both. Even if they don't win I hope someone gives them a contract because they can all sing live beautifully and preform well on stage and you can't say that about most girl groups nowadays!
What is Gary on? Their vocals were better than almost any group that's ever been on XFactor, bar perhaps Journey South and G4. Seriously, these girls should go far. Better than Girls Aloud (Louis you must be kidding comparing them!) and the Saturdays.

@SteveGaming To be honest with you, you can only say Perrie (blonde) has a wide range and the most powerful voice out of all four, but I wouldn't say she's the best singer. Jade (the one on far left) has a wide range too and she can control her vocals better than Perrie, but her voice is much less powerful than Perrie's. At 3.05 Perrie kinda messed up a little bit, and she messed up a little in "ET" and "Don't Stop the Music" as well, while Jade was by far the most consistent one out of all.

Please don't take offense anyone, i don't mean any disrespect to little mix whatsoever, but i think it's a HUGE injustice that singers like Janet and (debatably) Sophie Habibis were awarded a shot as solo artists but Perrie wasn't given a chance, i mean, what the hell! Come on, that voice is flawless!
But on the flip-side of that if she had gone solo little mix wouldn't have been formed so fate works in weird ways... either way <3 Little Mix! if Marcus beats them i will beat him.

these are nothing but hype they are not great singers the only reason they have got this far is because people like the wanted, jls and one direction come on xtra factor and do media interveiws saying little mix are there favorites and tulisa fans also voting for them its not a signing competition at this point its a popularity contest because if it was a singing contest little mix would have gone ages ago and other acts like kitty etc. would still be here also franki would have gone long before

The only problem is that....even though they're talented, I can foresee them becoming a generic club/dance group with autotuning etc.
I just get a huge dissapointment when artists fall so low...like JLS for example :/

People always like to say that in the group, only Perrie can sing because she can belt a song well and people really LOVE their belters...but newsflash: belters are not the only types of singers around, there are many different styles of singing. In my opinion, each one of them have voices suited for different types of music. They can ALL sing well and that's why I like this group. Little Mix and Marcus for top two!

What's Gary on about? It may not be their best performance but it was still really good. I'm not a fan of the arrangement of the song (and it's not their fault because the arrangement is not done by them) but they sang the song well and it was very much in tune.

I absolutely love little mix! I'd love them in the final 2 with Amelia Lily. I love them both. Even if they don't win I hope someone gives them a contract because they can all sing live beautifully and preform well on stage and you can't say that about most girl groups nowadays!

What is Gary on? Their vocals were better than almost any group that's ever been on XFactor, bar perhaps Journey South and G4. Seriously, these girls should go far. Better than Girls Aloud (Louis you must be kidding comparing them!) and the Saturdays.

@SteveGaming They can all sing, sure Perrie has her a wider vocal range but that doesn't necessarily make her better than the others, they all have there own strengths and styles that when combined together is amazing. @SteveGaming To be honest with you, you can only say Perrie (blonde) has a wide range and the most powerful voice out of all four, but I wouldn't say she's the best singer. Jade (the one on far left) has a wide range too and she can control her vocals better than Perrie, but her voice is much less powerful than Perrie's. At 3.05 Perrie kinda messed up a little bit, and she messed up a little in "ET" and "Don't Stop the Music" as well, while Jade was by far the most consistent one out of all.
