Leonnidik are you a dancer? because it sure sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about. first of all, vladimir was a foreigner at the bolshoi and Grigorovich didnt like that. but when he won gold metals at nearly all the competitions he offered him a to dance with the bolshoi. instead he chose to go to ABT.

When Jaffe was conducting a masterclass in Japan I attended! She was teaching us the variation from Paquita and actually touched my arms to move them the correct motion that she was trying to explain to the others - I was a bit star struck - still am actually....I had a great American ballerina actually show me how to perform a movement properly!!

As for Malakov, Is it any wonder why YURI Grigorovich never took him into the Bolshoi?

Malakov is a great dancer but he is VERY VERY VERy feminine.

Jaffe, Amanda McKerrow,Mariana Tcherkassky,Cheryl Yaegar,Kent,Sandra Brown,Leslie Browne, Danced as boring as their names.The great Mischa loved them,why? I don't know. Do YOU?

I don't follow? I think Jaffe is wonderful to watch. She's very very subtle. Leslie has a very subtle quality too. Kent is just stunning on stage (Julie Kent) - she is incredibly beautiful to watch on stage. As for the others I don'tknow. Why do you think they are boring??? Or do you not understand how subtly and how "less is sometimes more"?? Sometimes too many "tricks" becomes acrobatics and NOT dancing...

Jacque- I'm glad you enjoy her(truly) I saw Jaffe and rest many times because they danced with Misha. The MET never went wild over them. NOT Once.

Jaffe Is a beautiful dancer, this is one of the few videos I have seen of her, thank you for sharing. and thank you again for more Malakhov!!!
