@Cordero787 you are an ideologue. Stop stereotyping. Or I could just say, Modern Libertarians are spoiled kids who think of themselves as better and much more evolved because of a few positions.
@PoliticalWeekly Well I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or not but I'm a libertarian but I am hardly spoiled. I make about $9.00 an hour and I think that freedom is the most important goal that should be attained for society.
@Cordero787 get real kid..maybe do some research before you go spouting off at the mouth. I'm so sick of you neo-social-liberal types making the true classical-liberal and libertarians like myself look like fucking idiots. being a liberal USED to mean you stood for LIMITED GOVT. , liberty of individuals, freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, FREE MARKETS. Vote Ron Paul 2012
@miasmablk Exactly. Thomas Jefferson and Grover Cleveland, both Democrats and liberals were for small government. It wasn't until the late 19th century when the progressive movement come about and started to twist the meaning of liberalism to a form of statism. It's a shame too because conservatives today bash "liberals" when they should bash "progressives", because I would like my label back. Libertarianism sometimes confuses people LOL
I'm a struggling conservative myself, but this is a stupid question. There are many Conservative Leaders, out there, backing Ron Paul. As one stated, " Paul is the true Republican Conservative in the race". "He actually lives by his Conservativism, not uses them for politics, gain, or wealth". Why should they vote for Ron Paul? Your ignorance is one reason why I question my Conservativism. Why are Conservatives, so eager to sell out America, for those that are profiting on dead soldiers?
The title of this video should be more like Neo-cons who dislike Ron Paul. Let's face it there is no reason what's so EVER for real conservatives to vote for any other candidate. Dr. Paul has a clean record in congress for years, consistent, and doesn't cherry coating the issues unlike the other candidates. And for once we can have a president who actually understands economics. The truth is the American people like a T-bone steak but don't wants to see how the cow is butchered.
My girlfriend supports John McCain and her father is a regular conservative who believes that the war must be fought. Not every person who supports the war is a neo-con, just misguided.
Regular conservatives are no real conservatives. They go where the wind blows. Have no backbone to ask why and look back at the history of this country. And yes neo-cons can misguide many conservatives in believing otherwise. The neo-cons have redefined conservatism and its time for some serious purging.
If Ron Paul doesn't become president, then the neocons win. If he DOES become President, how much you want to bet the neocons will go back to the Dems.
I WOULD LOVE THAT!! Thats where the neo-cons belong anyways; in the Democratic Party. I've said it before. If Ron Paul goes against Overlord Clinton, every neo-con including everyone you've heard on TV and radio who sounds "conservative" will go against Dr. Paul. This battle is between the old left and the new left. And the right has been kicked out of the political club.
True...but how would people like Hannity and Mark Levin convince their viewers and listners that voting for Hillary is better then voting for Ron Paul...they would lose credibility.
Fox news does NOT want Paul as president. They've often said he is an "isolationist" and he can't win. I worry about legalizing drugs, but Ron Paul's outstanding views on other issues is worth taking a chance. I figure drug-users will find what drug they want, legal or not. As far as people calling Paul and "isolationist" Anti-immigrant or intelligent? Before you post, check out this YouTube video about poverty/immigration entitled:
My thoughts exactly. I'm for neither party, I vote for the person and RP is the person. I disagree with some things personally but his politics are perfect and if he doesn't get the nomination then Hilary will most likely be our next president. Good video.
Actually, IF there are less repubs than before, it's because the elected repubs AREN'T VOTING CONSERVATIVE. They're running around like their balls are in a vise held by Hitlery.
If Ron Paul was going to begin a 'Ted Roosevelt' foreign policy with his fiscal ideas (minus the socialist programs), he might have a chance. If he's gonna do the isolationist thing and call terrorism a pipe dream, then he's going nowhere fast.
he's a non-interventionist. An isolationist includes protectionism which is where there should be legal barriers to control trade and cultural exchange with people in other states. I'm going to include a link in the video description where Ron Paul addresses this whole notion of him being an isolationish. I recomend you read it.
Thanks for the reply to my video! You make allot of good points! Ones that I was going to make in to a video about a month ago.. But school has got in the way...keep up the good work!
Good. go fight a war or support socialism that will over tax you and I till we live in a ditch somewhere or work like I do over 70-80 hours a week to support a family! Dollar down 45% for the past 5 years our time is marked and What will you do when the dollar falls to the point its worthless to everyone around!
Your vote doesn't matter anyway, at least vote for the guy you believe in the most! In all reality, my 1 vote doesn't do much for a nation of 300,000,000! The problem our country has is they vote for the guy put on the TV screen, not on honesty and good policy!
I would only be wasting my vote if I didn't vote at all. If everyone "wasting" their vote by voting third party because they are disatisfied with candidates running, then it could begin to change things.
One can also argue that by not voting you would be more productive with your time rather than "wasting" it on a pointless outcome. That being said, If Dr. Paul doesn't get the nomination I will not be "wasting" my time with voting this coming elections.
A more apt title would be "A message for neoconservatives who dislike Ron Paul"...

I don't like the war, but too many people supporting Paul are just "pot, pussy, and acid" libertarians.

You're 100% right. Republicans will lose next year because Ron Paul wont even come close to winning the nomination.

Don't be so quick to believe that he will fail. He is gaining traction and has a chance. It's slim...but it is certainly better then Kucinich.
