I'm in the 8th grade right now, and I don't know if I will pass or not. I mean I've been slacking off and not doing a lot of my work that I need to. From what I've heard from my teachers I only need to pass Language Arts and Math. I have a C+ in Language Arts right now. I might be exempt from my Language Arts exam IF I have an overall grade above an F throughout the school year. Which I'm hoping I do. Math is another story though, the teacher I have isn't the best. I'm just scared I won't pass.

@wtfjaftw I didn't fail willingly. It sucks, I never anted to fail and I beat myself up for it everyday. It pretty much changed me cause I failed. Seeing my friends advance while I stay in the same grade, especially in MIDDLE SCHOOL. Life sucked for me.

And if your teacher doesn't want to give you extra credit, go see your vice principal or principal and see what they can do. Tell them you do not want to fail, and you would be willing to do ANYTHING to get into 9th grade.

If I, by some chance, actually pass this year, I am (figuratively) going to throw a big party (but no, I will celebrate this summer and do everything I enjoy as much as I can before next year, grade 9... Well, at least I hope grade 9, I might have to go to summer school, which my teacher said she's not sure how long it lasts and she'll have to check, but she thinks it's for most of July, so that would majorly suck). Although it's probably because this year I took homeschooling and obviously homeschooling is not my thing because I PROCRASTINATED A LOT so far when it comes to work at home. I have a story too. I used to get straight As in 5th grade (no joke) but then when I went to middle school the teachers didn't nag at you saying "Why didn't you do your homework?" and stuff like that. They didn't care. So I slacked off and 6th grade is when I got my VERY first F and I barely passed 6th grade. I told myself "I'll do better next year since I saw how close I was to failing next year" but I lied to myself... the same exact thing happend in 7th grade with me almost failing AGAIN
