Watching this again, I swear I hear the audience laughing when the basket is on the river... what was funny? O_o

why are they wearing those weird costumes?

I'm struggling to find out if this is supposed to be serious or not. On the one hand, the costumes are not too thought-out, and you turned the song into a Jazz piece. But on the other hand, there's no real intentional comedy in it.

The girl playing Yocheved is also really the only one who can sing. She was great (and played off almost dropping Moses really well).

I also wonder if it's intentional that the Queen over all the slaves is the only white person.

its a mainly black church which is why she was the only white person coz dere isnt many ppl, also this is an amateur performance so don't judge it against th pros,it is an amateur performance performed by school and college kids who want to give back to the church
