@hodnick thanks mate! i have no idea, i got them second hand and it came with them, it wasn't made for them he took it from something else. i don't know what PLM is, i'm not doing so much photography anymore so i'm not up to date with gear!

I spoke with a gentleman over at PCB and he said to not expect the AB MAX units for another couple of months.

I couldn't wait so I ordered a Limited Edition Flame Orange and got it in yesterday. Absolutely thrilled with the unit already. Can't wait to get out in the field and find some killer locations like you did.

A couple of things.. You have good taste in lighting aswell as music :) The Auteur are decent!

I'm also from the UK and planning on buying some AB's (possibly MAX if they're available) within the next 6 months or so.. How much did you pay in tax and import roughly? And what exactly did you buy, just the AB's, Vagabond and remotes? Or are they PCB stands and octobox etc?

Hope you can respond and I'll definately be checking through your stuff!

hi mate :)

i bought my second hand within the UK so didn't get any import fees etc.

i've got two AB800's, the vagabond II and some cheap ebay wireless triggers - it's a perfect set up. The stands/octa/umbrellas aren't PCB, just picked them up at local camera shops.

if i were you i'd wait and order AB max's from their europe store which is opening at the end of this month i believe!
