  • she kills it at 3:17!!!!

  • I swear, can anyone still actually play instruments anymore.

  • This like part one of Gladys Knight's Midnight Train to Georgia

  • beautiful!

  • love this picture....

  • I love Erykah! And this bass has me feeling it!!! especially around @2:06-2:11

  • i LOVE ERYKAH....i LOVE CHAKA

    nuff said.

  • Classic track from the "Bamboozled" sdtk. That whole sdtk was bangin'. Prince even contributed a song 2 that sdtk call "2045: Radical Man". Used 2 jam both trax extensively from that CD.

  • no one better to redo this song than miss badu.

  • Like many remakes, this one is okay. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Erykah, but I grew up with Chaka. This song appeared on the Platinum selling album "Ask Rufus" in 1977. It was written by two of Chaka's co-band members, David "Hawk" Wolinski and Andre Fischer. Even Erykah herself has admitted Chaka is an EXTREMELY TOUGH act to follow.

  • obozavam je

  • whoa when did this come out?

  • "n0wave" I get your point on the beat it does distract from her voice because on the musical track with voice alone this would have hit the top of the charts I am sure it sounds so dam good....

  • Chaka Khan <3

  • Her voice is so perfect in this, I just wish they didn't make the drum track so loud/aggressive. It takes attention away from her amazing voice. Really when it comes to Badu, all I want is a soft musical track and leave the rest to her voice.

  • @n0wave Erykah lyks her drums to be loud. She said it in a video.

  • Baduism..and Chakaism...LOVE IT

  • @dannybsunday can't go wrong with this formula

  • BADU LOVE !!!!!

  • OMG IM I LOVE HER AND I JUST HEARD THIS JOINT SUPREME FIYAHHHHH

  • =O this video only has 1,958 views!?!? crazyy

  • yess ! im glad you put this back up ! i love this song !

  • this song is so cool .i wonder how many people have heard this song ? needs more people

  • @Chengetai2005 agreed!!

  • @Chengetai2005 Heard this before in the late 70tys sung by Chaka Kahn, she vocalized it first. Don't forget Chaka is erykah's idol, so it would fit that she sang some of her songs such as stay and this featured cut.

  • @Agogo57 This is a funky, up-beat version; the Rufus (original) version is so sad. has much more of an impact.
