  • @ 71 you had Rxh4, you might have had a chance after that especially with the time advantage :) Anyway, it was fun, really! :)

  • KC you missed 71. Rxh4+ near the end there, which results in a rather tricky position that your opponent might not be able to win with 1 minute on his clock.

  • Uhm.. Why not 37 Qc4+, forcing the queens exchange? The ending should be good with two rooks, shouldn't it?

  • That is one of your most interesting games and one that shows why 15 min is perhaps more entertaining at its best than 5 min games. Thanks for the great run of compelling chess.

  • Insane match! King crusher you are truly and ridiculously remarkable!

  • what was the trap for not playing Bg5?

  • @Necropulan I too hope somebody can explain this...

  • 11 b4 and if 11 ... Bb4 you can play 12Qb3 and 13d5

  • @kingcrusher: Surely getting the queens off with Qc4+ was the right move? Nice game anyway, shame he got his revenge, looked like you had a good attack at one point!

  • You played the ending too quickly and missed 71. Rxh4+ drawing as it seems to me without further analysis. A pitty.

  • @ANSIcode That's not a draw...

  • @ANSIcode I noticed that too... he wins the h pawn for free, with check. But according to Houdini, that's not a draw... Black still wins.

  • 20:58

Lost you a bit there... :)

  • these two games against walter... you are playing really beautiful chess!

  • it might seem stupid but i'm just a beginner ! just a question on 26:52 coudnt u juste take the knghit cause the pon thats is protecting it is pinned to the king

  • @RockNizar good spot but i thing rook e1 was a prob ,king is on a skewer

  • @RockNizar taking with the rook on f1 leads to quick mate with Re1+ Rf1 Rxf1# since the Rook on g2 is still pinned. Taking with the Queen leads to the game's continuation

  • Would 37. Qc4+ be any good to get the queens off?

  • why not 9. c3? if he wants to play Bxf3 fine, you got a doubled f-pawns, but the bishop pair for the ending

  • Quite surprised you went for 15.Bd3, on a very shallow analysis I reckon things would get worse than they did IF black had played 16.- Bd6 intending Qxh2+ or is there some remedy against this I don't spot?

  • @HollowMove That's a good point - maybe Rfe1 so if Qxh2+ there is kf1 and maybe Ke2 later

  • @kingscrusher how about qc3 at move 14? and then if if bishop d6 then g3? plz reply

  • 5 minute?

  • @trixapete There is such a huge backlog of 5 minute games, and I do find I can't really do much commentary in depth of variations and stuff. I actually prefer doing commentary on 15 minute games - also it is OTB season, and just maybe it will turn out to be good training for OTB chess.

  • @kingscrusher fair enough. i just think there are a lot of engine users at 15 min, i generally dont trust it. Up to you though, but id make a polite request not to abandon the 5 minute autopairing games entirely.

  • @kingscrusher I think 49.Rxc6 was drawing!

    49.Rxc6 Rxb3+

    50.Kf2 or Kg2

And it seems black can't hold onto both the a5 pawn and the h6 pawn! Too bad you played 49.Kf4 because you were clearly thinking of Rxc6 :(
