the problem would arise if north korea suddenly had control of the souths technologies and food supplies. than they could in theory mount an invasion on the Philippines (one of the world leading mineral producers) and use there resources to help fund there military build up. but its still basically impossible because china and or Russia are the only ones who still support north korea, and as soon as north korea went to war the Chinese would annihilate koreas army
