A shotgun has eight bullets and sniper only has one. Still I keep getting hitmarkers and can't even kill someone at long range with a shotgun, but a sniper is nearly always a one-shot kill at any range. Fair? I don't think so...

in mw3 you will get 1 hitt kill only if you are 1 meter away and hitt him in the head, else you will get TONS of hittmarks, i got 7 on one guy and he didnt even die >.<

honestly they shouldn't nerf shotguns at all in MW3, in real life a shotgun can shoot almost 100yards away, and i know Call of Duty isn't the most realistic game but if you dont get a one shot kill with a shotgun from 20 or 30 ft away then there is something very wrong there.

@Lunchbox2170 their maximum effective range is 50 yards in real life. And it's really hard to kill or incapacitate an enemy in bulletproof vest with a shotgun.

The way i see it, if a shotgun is a primary it should be able to compete with any other gun in the game. So MW2 spas, but with even more range and a faster fire rate.

I don't think the SPAS-12 will suck. I have seen gameplay of it and it seems like it is still a good weapon but a little tamed. I will be using the Striker because I prefer semi-automatic action over pump action, but I wouldn't say the gun flat out sucks.
