I checked U2's Box office score data (wiki) for this year. I summed up their "Gross Revenue" for the 2011 tour. It is $180,593,202 U.S.

Take That's run through the U.K. grossed $185,175,360 U.S. and drew 1,806,473 fans to 29 shows from May 27 through July 9. And this is only from their UK gigs. There are also 6 stadium gigs in Italy, Denmark, Holland and Germany....so who is more successful in 2011?

This is one hell of a good advertisement. The fusion of Take That's stuff from the past 20 years and Robbie's solo makes even The Beatles quake in their boots. One thing's for sure let them entertain us

@catasimi1977 id rather see a bunch of ugly bastards play music all they are is a bunch of gloryfied lap dancers same goes for girl bands tomake nickers and boxers wet however i think gary barlow is the only talented one out the lot of them i saw him doin a verison of "cuddly toy" by "roachford" and i was impressed.......as far as real good new music they not "The Twilight sad" aww "Frightened Rabbit" and they certainly wont wont go down as legends like "Free" "Thin Lizzy" aw "Cream"
