  • It's pretty shallow to make preferences based off race, it shouldn't matter

  • @FrogWalrus And it's not when they're based on haircolor or bodytype? Sexual attraction is nothing we rule over. However to base a relationship only on attraction i shallow.

  • Mhmmm black boys ;)

  • I miss Nell Carter. That VOICE and personality. Mercy!!!!

  • So true! Variety IS the spice of life.

  • Michael Jeter is the guy with the socks.

  • The white guys portraying the Army officers sitting at the table are (from left): singer Johnny Maestro (1939-2010) ("16 Candles" & "Worst That Could Happen"); Jim Rosica; actor Vincent Carella; Fred Ferrara. Rosica and Ferrara were Maestro's bandmates in the music group The Brooklyn Bridge.

The black Army officers at the table were The Stylistics, a Philadelphia soul group in the 1970s. Lead singer Russell Thompkins Jr. sang the falsetto part in "White Boys".

  • ..and...GO NEL CARTER!!!

  • Hilarious!! The funniest song from one of the best musicals ever. Not a big fan of musicals (besides The Wall) but this one is classic. I laugh my white boy butt off at this every time.

  • i wish i had an afro

  • @furiousangelwolf3 u can have mine for a day :D

  • @furiousangelwolf3

    me too :o

  • Glee NEEDS to do a rendition of this movie.

  • @BluesAndJam Well, they have two more seasons guaranteed. I'm sure it will occur to someone at Fox. But you have to admit, there's very few tracks on the "Hair" soundtrack that you could actually perform on "Glee" without a program advisory :)

  • @larz25000 You're ignorant and don't deserve to breathe.

  • funny

  • that black guy was hot!

  • couldnt they find a better looking black girls?

  • Haha love it! Love the whole film but this is one of my favourite bits :)

  • I LOVE this song!

  • those white chicks need some of this dizzick

  • This is awesome! Don't get why everyone cares so much who's gay and who's black, but whatever.

  • Why did people stop having talent after 1990?

  • @KidRondini

I think you've definitely been watching the wrong things since 1990. Here are very few examples of jaw dropping movies: Trainspotting by Danny Boyle (1996), Lola Rennt by Tom Tykwer (1998), Requiem for a Dream by Darren Aronofsky (2000), Dancer in the Dark by Lars Von Trier (2000), and any movie by Alejandro González Iñárritu or Quentin Tarantino.

There are still great, great movies being done, it's just that usually, they're not enormous blockbusters.

  • @KidRondini You mean people who are born after -90? I don't know...

  • @KidRondini idk the 90 fucking sucked, well the cartoons where okay, well better then todays

  • @KidRondini That is a filthy lie my friend.

  • @KidRondini I don't know, maybe they all just lost their humor.

  • @KidRondini Sorry but i dont really see this song as talented ... i have seen better today

  • @KidRondini

    Mtv

  • I LOVE THIS SONG

  • Couldn't they have cast white guys not so scrawny and homely as the guys in this scene of the film? Get bodybuilders like they did for the black boys part of this song! The white guys they used in this part of the Hair film were ugly wimps!

And the Army recruiters. There were more black ones than white ones, it should have been equal numbers on both sides! Just sayin'!

  • @Satchel334

Yeah...but the "White boys" song kicks the shit out of the "Black boys" one.

  • nope the black boys song was better cuz the girls r sexy

  • there's more lyrics for white boys anyways :P

  • All politics aside, this scene was brilliant! LOL

  • The Black woman singing the white boys part wearing the Sailor shirt is the lady that played Tituba in The Crucible movie!!!

  • I never got why the Army dudes are singing too!!!

  • The white guy is wimpy and thin, the black guy is kinda hunky and defined. Hmmmm, racist?

  • The other white dude is hot though!!! lol

  • @MichaelinNewEngand

    nope just reality lol

  • we all love black boys and we all love white boys. Religion kills any openness.

  • @MichaelinNewEngand: religion and greed

  • @MichaelinNewEngand religion doesnt kill anything. love is religion's only truth

  • Comment removed

  • @MichaelinNewEngand I dont get your comment. My family is christian, and bonus, my mom is black and my dad is white. you clearly have no idea, and i dont understand why your comment is highest rated.

  • @InDelusionB he mean in general, your comment is exactly what he means by "openness"

  • oooookay, then.

  • Hey, he's the guy from Sister Act II, one of the monks!

  • dis is so gay

  • 3:02 my favorite!

  • Where can I find the names of the actresses at 1:41

  • At 1:39 is the girl on the left a light skinned mullato or mixed with something?

  • that's what i hate about black people just cause someone is light skin doesn't mean their mix ..... she just white how would we know ????

  • miamibabii77

Her hair is really nappy and she looks a bit swarthy. Lighten up.

  • why do you care??? shut up

  • What's wrong with me asking? I'll bet you she's not pure white. If a none-black had asked about it would it have bothered you as much?

  • Which girl was being addressed during this thread?

  • At 0:53 on the left side of the screen with wild dark hair.

  • Really? You think she's mixed? I don't know. Ultimately, yes she is mixed as science has proven all white persons have spawned from the black race. But putting aside that stuff, I don't know. What we refer to as black and white in now terms??? She would be Italian or Albanian.

  • Usually she is I'm right about guessing this.

  • What ever happened to the phrase light skinned black? Give her an admixture test and you will see that she is part black.

You remind me of the people that think Sammy Sosa and Rosie Perez have no black ancestry just because they call themnselves latino.

  • Give her an admixture test and I'll bet she would have some admixture.

  • She looks like a lightskinned black.

  • miamibabii77

I was right about Amber Rose and the chic on Gossip Girl. When I see a mullato I usually get it right.

  • Miamibabii77

that's what i hate about miamibabii77 just cause someone is light skin doesn't mean their latin or white....she just mixed how would we know????

  • well im black just stating my opinion

  • lol I love this movie :)

  • This movie is "Hair". It's about a big tribe of hippies in the 60's. It's actually on Broadway now. The movie is hella long, but worth watching. Love it

  • man, this is some silly shit...but wow Nell Carter, I love Nell Carter and don't even know why.

  • What is the name of this movie? I gotta see it.

  • what is this musical about?

call me ignorant but i'm so confused!

  • wat een kut lied

  • Dude I fucking looove this movie and this scene is hahaha just amazing

  • The black boy melody is better. No offense and not to sound racist.

  • thoses black guys are fineeee

  • ok....this is very weird, a lil funny...but still weird

  • I think it's to point out the irony that this board of officers are willing to refuse service from anyone who is a proven homosexual... yet they are the one's who sit there all day and ask them to take their clothes off.... or maybe the director was high.

  • hair is about free love.

    what's with the rude ignorance?

  • homosexuality has existed as long as sex has.

  • I don't know if your comment was a response to someone else's response, or if you made a general assessment of this video. Either way, it made me laugh. "Hair" and "Rent" sums up reality in a musical way.

  • someone said "the gay fad started in 1998," i was responding to that. glad it made you laugh though.

  • This is so weird lol.
