We are helping their country and we help to get rid of a leader that was killing his own and living in fear for his own life by his own people. The truth is that from a technical standpoint Baer is wrong. The Iranians have very little compatibility to knock out oil installations. The SAM umbrella today would shot down everything thrown at it. If the gulf states buy any newer S300 system combined with PAC-3 systems these cruise missile attacks are just not a feasible retaliation.

Baer pretty much nails it. He overplays their influnce in Iraq, but he is dead on about their potential in the region. A war with Iran would not just destroy the U.S. economic systen, but the world's. Everybody loses, and Iranians would enter a 3rd world state they couldn't imagine. Let's all pray it will never ever happen. And they won't nuke Israel.
