Jonny`s old stuff is awesome. That was when he stuck with his roots. As soon as he started doing stuff like "red light" it never sold. Thats because thats what the record company told him to do. Quite the shame. He was something special with his voice.

You know that on those first few "roots" albums he didn't do any of the songwriting right? But on "Long Time Coming" he did *MOST* of the songwriting? I'd definitely say he did what he wanted to do on "Long Time Coming". I think it was a standout record for him and definitely him coming into his own both as a singer, songwriter, and musician.
