I thought this was by far the darkest and most sinister (and consequently the best!) of all of her tracks. This version isn't as good as the album version.
I think Beverley never got the recognition she deserved. Whether she stopped her career to devote herself to her family or it is the curse of the truly gifted artists to appeal only to a chosen few and dedicated audience, I don't know.
But after so many years she's still same as staggering to play the piano. A true queen.
