foxkill the car would have won if it had 30k in upgrades. keep in mind the car has a th350(cheap) with 3.23's. depending on limiter its not gonna pull much past 140.

iron blocks and ls3 heads are cheap in comparison to whats out there. he probably spent a good chunk on the intake/TB set up though.

Yea gears would be really nice. Im going to college here soon soo money is really tight until I get taxes back. Even gears are expensive right now. I did have a passenger too that doesn't help when ur racing something u already think is faster. But 20 miles to work and back on the highway limits my gearing towards gas. Just a friendly race thats all.

There is no way in hell that is 30k worth of mods lol. Plus, I would honestly still rather have the car though just because. I look at bike as the easy way out, I like the idea of making a 13-14 sec car into a 9-10 sec car. That's the whole fun thing about cars anyway, is the modding (yes I know you can mod a bike but that's a different story) Plus a car has more luxuries (a/c, actual seats, etc) and I would rather have that. That's just my personal opinion though.

This is an LS1, not a Beemer where you have to pay an arm and a leg just for a catback. 30k in mods would be about as fast as you'd wanna go on the street (that of course is a rough estimate)
