This is not a fake. Beckham wanted to maintain his fitness during the MLS off-season so he could have a shot at being selected for England and thus receive his 100th cap. A few premiership clubs offered him the chance to train with them and Beckham chose Arsenal.

This is not a fake. Beckham wanted to maintain his fitness during the MLS off-season so he could have a shot at being selected for England and thus receive his 100th cap. A few premiership clubs offered him the chance to train with them and Beckham chose Arsenal.
