@TheGritty64 Yeah, go into the conversion settings in your computer, select a conversion folder, convert all of them, and transfer to your iDevice.

Air Video is a useless app. I have never gotten through an entire video without it crashing, freezing, skipping to the next in the play list for no reason. One day it will say the 1/2 hour video I am trying to play is 27 seconds long, the next day it says it is 26 hours 57 minutes long and won't play it. Useless. Absolutely unreliable app.

lol you dont need to test the connection. It will work. Just put the pin on the iPad app and your good to go. Worked for me!

This app really sticks. It is constant trouble. New issues all the time. This week it will play 30s or so and then lock up. Scan ahead 30s and it may get going again, may not. So bad, total unreliable and unstable. Feels like Windows 3.0...

The fast forward/rewind functions do not work at all. It crashes instantly if you touch them. Often it reads a files that is 25 minutes long and thinks it is 3 minutes long and plays the 3 minutes it likes. If it crashes while reading a file, that file is unreadable forever according to Air Video and it will never play it again even tho it works fine on your server still. Lots of problems. What do you want for $3....

Air Video is very unstable/unreliable. Some times it hooks right up and plays perfectly, next time maybe 5 minutes later it won't work at all. You never know what you are going to get.Turn the server on and off a few times, reboot the Wifi connection a few times and maybe you can get it to work, you never know.It needs work.

Forget about the connection test, it tells me the same thing, just put the pin number in the app along side your password and it should work nonetheless.

@theoeki10 You can scale up to 1024/768 I believe, which is the iPad screen. That's dependent though on your host computer, settings, and network.

@smartalic5 It's pretty bandwidth intensive, so I would imagine if you're doing Internet sharing over 3G, it will use all it could, and you would probably need to compress your video to play well.

Part-4) It even plays my DVD Rips (Of Course of dvd's that I purchased). It plays all my different podcast & even the podcast downloaded in itunes which I can't live without, things like Diignation,Tekzilla,Twit-This Week In Tech & HD Nation, as a Computer techie/Geek I can not live without this wonderful video playing on all of my devices. I use this app on my IPAD 3G/WIFI 64GB & on my IPHONE 3G 8GB & I love this thing. This is the best app I have purchased yet.

Part-3) Now Video I play my HD DVR recordings of my fav tv shows that I recorded on my Elgato EyeTV & these files are massive in size I am talking Supernatural 1 hour show(6.4GB), but clear as sh** & this app can handle it even while doing the encoding on the fly real time encoding. This APP rocks oh & don't forget to put the server software on your computer or it will not work. I am so happy that I bought this app.

Part-2) It see's all of the folders & video files that I throw at it,but the only thing is the one thing that I downloaded to Itunes which was the hd Avatar trailer was locked because of DRM protection which I thought sucked, but in truth I never purchase video's from Itunes anyway. The only thing I do in itunes is play music that I transferred over from a cd or a mp3 purchase.

Part-1) I love Air Video & I do not know what people are talking about about the remote feature it does work at least on my Netgear Router, but I did have to call tech support to figure out what else beside (UPnP) because it is another selection to turn on & I can't remember because it is confusing as heck, but I did it & actually it was the same setting that got my EyeTV App working also.
