  • I want a man of faith like Romney for president! I judge his character, not his faith. Romney for President, not Parishioner!

  • If anyone has any beliefs, Mormon, Catholic, Baptist, Muslim, Agnostic, or any other belief, don't they believe that it is important? Why would you waist your time degrading what someone else believes unless you were not firm in your own beliefs? it's like the Atheist that is angry at the man praying. WHY?

  • Richard Land is a deceiver. Of course, Land wouldn't want Romney to publically state what he really believes. If he did, no one outside of the Mormon church would vote for him. I for one could never vote for a man who believes he is a little god.

  • @remembersodom I guess you won't be voting for Jesus, then, who was once nearly stoned over the same LDS claim that "men were gods" (John 10:34). If Romney as a preacher would still get several million LDS votes, how many do you think you would get? Two? Yours and your mother's? I doubt even your mother would vote for a blasphemer.

  • Why have you not gone after Harry Reid the Democratic Senate Majority Leader? He is a Mormon. Why not Liberman he is Jewish. Why is that we have all this bigotry statements. Is it from liberal media such as NBC? Is it that certain liberal media don't want a strong candidate that can beat out the Democratic Presidential hopeful?

  • Mormons believe they will become Gods and that Jesus and Satan are brothers. Liberals do not want another totally nonsensical religion controlling the white house. All the others are hard enough to rationalize.

  • @belaires Ah, how cute. The mini-devil talks of "nonsense" and "rationalizing"...

Let's see. God has children => the children will become like God (Romans 8: 16-17, Matthew 5: 48). Oops! LDS are logical after all, and the mini-devil is the one spouting nonsense.

Jesus was God's son, and Lucifer "fell" from heaven (Isaiah 14: 12, Luke 10: 18), where he was also a son of God. Oops again! They were brothers after all, and your denial of it is the only irrationality here, mini-devil.

  • @bravoalphahk How about the part where you aren't supposed to Judge or be so prideful?

    Oops

  • .

Romney and Huckabee both had Democrat Legislatures during times of crisis

Huckabee begs for higher taxes -- Romney says "NO"

Huckabee signs benefits for illegals -- Romney says "NO"

Huckabee pardons a criminal ever 4 days -- Romney says "NO."

Huckabee acts like Jimmy Carter -- Romney acts like Reagan

    .

  • Dr. Richard Land is not president of the Southern Baptist Convention. He's the president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, an entity of the convention. Dr. Frank Page is the president of the SBC.

  • When religions attack one another it just reflects badly on believers to the rest of the population. Religions must be tolerant of other faiths. Any minister who preaches hate could not possibly be a true follower of Christ.

  • So true!

  • Mormons say, "We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may."

  • so you have to be religious or have a belief in one or more gods?

richard landis is talking out of his ass. he obviously has prejudices, since he has an alliance with romney.

  • evangelicals have become the joke of the civilized world... worse than muzzies

  • "More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush's virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. But he is less inclined to federal activism, less tolerant of overspending, better able to defend conservative positions in debate, and more likely to demand performance from his subordinates, we vote for Mitt Romney."

    - National Review 11 Dec 2007

  • Amen! Excellent points!

  • This guy nails it.

Why does everyone in America know that Romney is a Mormon... but the vast majority would have no clue on the other candidates faith?

    I mean so what?

  • 'So what?' my ass! Romney the Mormon clown believes in a fraud perpetrated by a notorious con artist. His decisions are based on the fantasies propounded by said con man.

  • i believe he said very clearly that his personal life decisions were faith based... but there is no religious influence on his governmental decisions.

and what's the notorious con? please enlighten us with your vast understanding of Mormon theology.

  • Well said

  • It was a good speach, i learned some good things and was reminded what our country is about.

  • I think Richard Land summed it up very well. Amen Again!

  • Amen!
