I'm starting to think. Will there be a day when the south will rise? When I was in high school, a lot of my classmates will not salute to the flag. And I'm seeing them as the rebels of the future Confederates. Will there be an American Civil War II? Is so, before or after WW3?

anyone who vandalizes a monument dedicated to men who died so they would be able to do something like that are the worst kind of people. its like vandalizing the grave of hundreds of people!! it makes me physically ill to think that anyone would do that!! i cant imgaine if someone did that to my ancestors monument or rock carving id go apeshit
Great grandson of a confederate and union officer. Save our history from those whom would rather forget it. For it is what shapes our society. It makes us proud and gives us our distinction.
In that group of people, you can include those idiots who vandalized the Eternal Peace Light Memorial last week. If I could catch them, I'd make them understand the consequences of what they've done.
Haha, that's kinda ironic, but I do agree with you. Can't stand vandals, when I was in Germany, I noticed that war memorials had been vandalized, something I notice too here in England. I was hoping it would be different in America, after all your Civil War is now a friendship, yet idiots are still everywhere, I guess.

@lesmiseponine Yeah, well same could be said for the Bolshevik soldiers who put bullets in the back of the head of Polish soldiers at Katyn Forest. I don't care about bravery. I care about actions and what cause you put your bravery to and whether that cause is just.
@GettysburgGhost1863 yeah a couple years ago when i went up to gettysburg my second time, we went and saw the 78th and 102nd NY monument on culp's hill and someone vandalized it and broke the gun on the man behind the breastworks ontop of the monument. It pissed me off beyond belief that someone would defy my ancestors monument.

Unfortunately, yes they do. Some other pricks vandalized the US Regulars monument on Cemetery Ridge a few weeks ago too.
