how come you were not affected by his fire? I'm currently at the stone dragon, but I keep dying because of his annoying fire attacks. I can't remember how I did it before. Do you know what to do? ty :D

I was lucky about the fire, sometimes it dosnt knock you back, as for fighting the dragon... all I can say is be stronger then it, dodge his fire balls when you run towards it and attack all out in the second or two you get before his knockback

Ok thank you I really thought I was strong enough (100% one-handed, 118 strength and a weapon with weapon damage 120 or something i can't remember) but now i trained some more so it shouldn't be that hard anymore. Thanks for your help :)

@Niborius some dragons have a weak fire atk,and with the high mage armor+ eye of innos+ a ring i think(i kinda forgot the name of that item) u`ll have enough fire protection to become immune to some fie attacks

i finished the game 2 times and i still like it but the dragons are easier to kill if you know how to block them into some places

Night of the Raven is harder.Because it requires higher STR for using weapons. A HINT for killing drangons: Use a scroll for summoning demon and enjoy:)

the most easy way to pass night of the raven is 100str, 100agi and master in 2h and crossbow :] left magic crossbow for dragons and done :D

it's best to go in valley of mines when youz are level 20 because you will kill one orc with ease....if you know how to fight :)

i´m playing night of the raven to and it´s normal that orcs are not easy to kill on level 17 because NotR is harder from the opponents levelskills as the normal gothic 2 ^^ i´m also level 17 so i can tell you that and i did it a little bit different the most exp i got on skill (im german so i don´t know if it´s right xD it´s for using better bows and so) so that i can kill my opponents from far away ^^

i play gothic 2 (night of the raven) and currently im lvl 17 and maybe i just suck but i cant kill orcs soo how the hell can i defeat a dragon?

It could be a number of things, I dont know how night of the raven works exactly, but you could be spreading out your learning points and doing things like mana increase or dexerity when your a one handed fighter. If I were you I would disinstall it and just install gothic 2, spend all your learning points on strength and one or two handed fighting then at level 17 orks will pose no threat whatsoever

sorry I took a couple days to reply, you can learn take dragon scales from a hunter on the way to the stone dragons lair, he is near the fire lizards inbetween the orks and lizard men - he also teaches take dragon blood, which as a mercenary you will want to do. Better armor can be bought in chapter 4 but its best to wait for chapter for the finest

There are two guys sitting on an island before you go for stone dragon - one of them (don't remeber the name) can teach you to take dragon blood and scales (5 LP each)

Good question and thank you, 1 handed swords are faster and -for me- the better, but alot of people use 2 handers simply because they do more damage and look cooler :-), but they are balanced weapons and you should use whichever you like, you cant miss

it is my understanding your charater is alot stronger there, the enemies take more hits, but so do you - gothic 2 normal is higher risk fighting. I may kill them quick but they only need to hit me say like 10 times from a lizard man, and Im a very high level

oh thats simple, after you kill the dragon, click on it and take its heart, then take the heart to an alchamists bench (may be spelt wrong), you recharge the eye that way :-D

that is a very disturbing problem, I sometimes have problems with dragons but havent actually seen them disapear.. it will be a bug, different people have different problems with this game which most likly happened during instal, but I dont know for sure. Sadly the only advice I can give is start over, I know it sucks sorry man
