  • Sometimes people feel that dressage = long stirrups - which is true if your leg is properly engaged and placed, but if you are reaching and diving a bit for your stirrups during your ride it effects your ability to balance stay upright in all moments and ride from your core. You sound like you agree by your recommendation to shorten the stirrups. Anyway this rider is not my student and this beautiful Lippizzan is not my horse. Thanks for checking him out. :)
