One might say he is an atomistic qualia realist. It was as if he was going to follow up with Humean "habitual association" leading to our discernment of discrete objects.

Such geniuses come once or twice a century.

For me who has no roots in Spanish or European cultures, he evokes the lost worlds of BA and SA . Yet his futuristic surreal work somehow imply things are not lost but will repeat.
