  • sorry the lower one is just annoying me i play trumpet and you should play that low so it doesnt sound so wrong its possible i can

  • @makadungdung ...What? It's not possible to reach a tuba's octave on a trumpet.

  • @snailzillascreator oh its possible i can heres a hint use horse lips on the trumpet helps u play lower

  • @snailzillascreator read the description dumb fuck. he lowered it electronically

  • @jthrunz Read the comment I responded to dumb fuck. He said he can play that low on trumpet.

  • I was wondering, I just listened to the original Tribute to John Williams and it seemed faster than this. Did you play it at a slower tempo? I was just wondering! I'm a fellow trumpet player and this is a pretty cool bit of playing!

  • why does he play with his left AND right hand? and his trumpet is on the wrong side (the right screen) like what? And how do you do those low parts?

  • @MrDannypoodle he reversed the picture on the sides, and he used a program to make it an octave lower

  • i like all your videos your a really good trumpet player!!! and your better then the cappella guy who sing this song

  • @AllAboutTheBand Yeah, I hate this video! I gave full credit to Moosebutter for their arrangement in the description. In fact, if you look through my comments, he even commented on this video.

Thanks for watching, I urge you to take a look at some of my more recent videos for something you may enjoy!

  • @TheBig5Brass Hey. Your awesome. im a 5th year trumpet in highschool and im looking for a trumpet to replace my old Andreas Eastman. Any choices that have a nice Jazzy sound?

  • @TheBig5Brass Thumbs up for replying like a boss.

  • @AllAboutTheBand LOL, you have your panties in a wad. Get laid, be happy.

  • Regretly not enough force, music character and tempo speed on this performance :S :(

    Easy notes version???? :S :(

Only final theme escapes from vulgarity :S

  • And notes to the Jurassic Park song?

  • What type of trumpet do you use?

  • amazing

  • awsome!!!! maybe a bit to slow but absolutely ASWOME!!!! i would like to give 5***** not only thumb up!!!

  • @xcrecker

why would you say that? You want to make a video better than that?

  • @MrLachubakabra I think nobody can do it better.

  • GIVE MOOSEBUTTER SOME CREDIT!

  • buen sonido

  • I would love get a copy of the sheet music. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • I appreciate your sense for synchronization and good tone but you still need a practise. But you really have nice tuned trumpet. That quartet sounds very good! Nice job!

  • If only the trumpet players in my school were half as good as this...

    ahahahaha. very good.

  • what program did you use to simulate a tuba

  • This is a fantastic feat. You are amazing.

  • dsqdq

  • i seriously want this music great job

  • Great work.

  • this is so beautiful.

but the sheet link doesn't here.

  • Sounds like a trumpet version of ApprenticeA's John williams tribute, a very good one at that :D good job

  • Really beautiful playing!

  • Incredible...

Is there any way you could send me the sheet music??

  • its really good great job man!

  • Your tone seems a little thin at points....it's not that it's pinched off it's just the quality of it...it's not very vibrant. Very Very Very relaxed lip bends and slurs with the lower register should fix that for you. What sized bell you got with that strad? And what moutpiece are you using?

  • You have a great Tone quality that must be the best i heard

  • What program did you use to change your pitch?

  • what is tht black thing on ur valves?

  • too slow...

  • hmmm..... i think you missed star wars... other than that i liked the lil medley

  • John Williams FTW!

  • Awesome vid man bravo

  • 2 thumps up - Andy - Hong Kong

  • sheetmusic?!?!!?

  • Hah. Moosebutter..... xD!

  • ahhh the music of superman... brings back memories of my first year of marching...

  • you should totally do John William's Olympic Fanfare and Theme!

  • great

  • May I use this video as an example of an excellent tribute to John Williams? My website is going to be paying tribute to him when we launch( it is family based- clean)I would like to encourage people to send in tributes to John Williams, but, some people may need some guidance. If approved I will let you know when we launch so that you can follow your video. Best of the Best to you.CherylWilliams- no relation.

  • hey....love the video...whats the program your using?? (and nice stradivarius!!)

  • hell yes this is awesome. good job.

  • Are you sure you didn't copy that guy that sings the tribute cause this sounds alot like it? Just wondering? Its almost the exact same?

  • No Star Wars? I know he did that.

  • Hey, do you have sheet music for this! I really wanna try this song, it sounds awesome!

  • i dont get :10 - :21

  • @TTTJJJLLL123 close encounters of the third kind i think.

  • whats that song at 3:05

  • @TTTJJJLLL123 jurrasic park theme

  • congratulations on doing something I didn't think was humanly possible. Fucking awesome.

  • No Star Wars? :(

  • @YoMathidge09 i think thats at 1:55

  • @TTTJJJLLL123 no, thats ET

  • ur great ;-)

  • from one trumpeter to another, you kicked ass haha

  • Cool

  • dude.. ur freakin amazing. im a trumpet playa too. lol. i can only hope to be as good as you one day.

  • fuck yeh!!!! good job, i like how u did this....btw, i'm also a tuba player and that does sounds like an octavedown....did u play that or didu use a program?

  • @abcdeathmonster2 I use a program, that's not possible on a Bb trumpet!

    Thanks for watching!

  • @TheBig5Brass It is possible. You just have to be good enough.

  • @scrogginsslayer

Let me know when you find someone that can play a trumpet and have it sound exactly like a tuba without the work of computers.

  • @TheBig5Brass actually it is possible. it may not be that clear, but a pedal tone can be that low and/or lower

  • @TheBig5Brass pedal tones. they aren't as pretty as what you did tho...

  • @TheBig5Brass Well it is possible, just it takes a lot of practice to get good tone down in the pedal range.

  • @TheBig5Brass Hey. Your one of my trumpet Idols. Im looking for a trumpet to replace my Andreas Eastman. Im in high school. Any suggestions for a jazzy sounding trumpet?

  • Respond to this video... Hey. Your one of my trumpet Idols. Im looking for a trumpet to replace my Andreas Eastman. Im in high school. Any suggestions for a jazzy sounding trumpet?

  • retard didnt put any sound

  • what program did you use for that?

  • I Think I'm In Love. Hahaha. (: That's Just Incredible.

  • Excellent!!!!!

  • How you can play such a low tones?

  • thats a trumpet an octave down? certainly doesn't sound like it and im a tuba player..

  • @Southsunstuba I don't think you understand, I use a computer to pitch down my playing 1 or 2 octaves to simulate a tuba. I do it because I can't play tuba! :-p

  • @TheBig5Brass ahhh, ok. I getcha, Well it sounds alot like a tuba. So well done. BTW, you have amazing sound.

  • @TheBig5Brass i had a feeling u did

  • It's an intermediate horn

  • nice one ^^

  • heya, did u make that base sound with a tuba or just a trombone?

  • How do you syncronise all that video?thanks for answer

  • How come the two on the right hold the trumpet with the right hand and finger with the left one? I then noticed that the bell is on the opposite side of the fingering hand, so I guess you did something with the video and played them all facing the same direction.

    5 stars =D

  • This is freakin A!!

    300 stars!

are you willing to share music!

  • sigh if i could listen to your recordings all dayi so would.

  • wow. GREAT is all I can say.

    what horn are you using?

  • @DenmarkPrinceof144 i believe that's a trumpet no?

  • I believe it is. thing is I play trumpet. and I was asking what trumpet he was using..

  • @DenmarkPrinceof144 it looks like the regular one

do you mean like a baritone trumpet or something?

i thought it was trumpet, cornet, and the...i forgot what it's called but i thought there were only like 3 kinds of trumpet

  • well the cornet is not considered a trumpet. and the other is the piccolo? I was just wondering what model/brand he was using.

I have a bach strad but I cant tell what he has. therefore the question.

  • Hey, I use a Bach Soloist Stradivarius in this video.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Ah! nice horn similar to mine (strad 37) but better looking right?

you do more honor to yours than I do to mine.

    Hamlet.

  • @DenmarkPrinceof144 ah

i use a yamaha from like 12 years ago

  • is it a pro horn? have you been playing for 12 years?

  • @DenmarkPrinceof144 i think it is

    it's a hand-me-down from my older sister

i've actually only played for a couple of years, but my band director found that i play baritone better

the trumpet is actually...i don't wanna say broken, but i guess that's the only word.

the tuning slide won't move, the smaller slide for the middle valve won't move

the bottom caps of each valve won't move and the slide going to the first valve won't move

  • OMG THIS IS SOOO AMAZING!!!!!1

  • Fantastic video and great sound! Well done!

Did you write out the music by listening to moosebutter or is it availiable to get from somewhere as it's something I'd love to try one day!

  • @lirbugler you can get it off their website

  • I'm doing jurrasic park, mission impossible and raiders march for making my music composition on trumpet. I have no idea what to do but this stuff is really brilliant. Minimalism is it? maybe, I am no music god and never pay attention.

    Good work though

  • your sound and legato is not very good,i´m think you are practice clarke method and pivote sistem for best sound and tecnic

  • The "bass" part does not sound like a trumpet. I notice that another comment mentioned "lowering" the trumpet. Did you somehow "lower" the trumpet, or did you use a baritone?

  • it is very easy. you just record it with the trumpet and then you can change the pitch. it is very simple. even a programm like audacity can achieve this.

  • Man 3:03 gives me chills every time I hear it.

  • Great work! I loved it! :D

  • just a tad slow

  • dmb4ever1000 is a retard why is he even listening to music?

  • i want to learn it and get three friends you are a great player

  • Wonderful job!!!! I loved it!!!!!!!!

  • the greatest composer ever! dumb ass

  • for me he's in a tie for 1st with hans zimmer

  • The composer of all those songs!

  • OH NO! your gonna get a lot of thumbs down for that hes a musician used in lots of movies a lot with stephen Speilberg

  • @DMB4ever1000

    HAHAHA

One of the greats in composing history

  • @Paradox1618

woops sry did i say greats?

    I meant gods

  • John Williams FTW

  • Hey Greg!

Awesome trumpet playing. Im also a trumpet player and starting a brass quintet. Im wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some of your arrangements with us. You have some great tunes! Im especially in love with "When Im 64." Let me know!

  • I clicked the favorite button, and it somehow double clicked and hit 2.0 stars, so if your rating goes down a little bit, that would be my fault. If I could correct it, I'd totally give this five stars!!

  • I'm listening to this video again, you should try to do the video a bit faster.

  • I'm working on doing this. I"m also a trumept player. I don't think I'll lower the trumpet though.

  • You´re a good idol ;-)

i convinced my BrassBand-Leader to do the Moosebutter´s Version as well. Likely we´ll performe it in a church *laugh*

  • Really great work. I really smiled when the Jurassic Park theme came on. Definitely my favorite composition from the Man John Williams

  • AWESOME!! i wish i could play like that..

  • @ shutipzeke: how is that a bassoon?!?!?! You obviously have never played one. It's called using audacity to lower the pitch

An octave. Don't say things unless you know what your talking about.

  • @1018musackmon : We have already cleared this up.

    1. He used ACID

    2. It was a wonder to me how well in tune the "bassoon" was

    3. He played played the part so well in tune and in time he fooled me

    4. I read the description and misunderstood it

    5. I knew he tuned two of them down, I just thought that he was using a backtrack for the "bassoon" part.

    6. I was not aware that you knew my musical background.

    7. His tone is just that of a bassoon in that low octave.

  • lol!!!

  • Very good job

  • Yea, actually he is.

  • Did you use ACID?

  • Yes, Acid for audio and Vegas for video.

  • It never says anything about a Bassoon. I was only trying to clear up the question. I do realize that you edited it down.

  • Ok, sorry for the confusion. There is no bassoon, just trumpet pitched an octave down instead of getting a real tuba. I do that in almost all of my videos.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Just clear things up. The low instrument is a Bassoon. It is a low reed. He is not playing that part on a trumpet.

  • Please read description, also...a bassoon? You're kidding me...

  • lmao this is the "john williams is the man" quartet arrangement for singing lmao but it still good!
