  • Theres not much that I can say about this song, except that I don't like hypocrisy. A friend of mind would take this song seriously and change by not being a hypocrite and apologizing for their mistakes, by pulling out that negativity and pointing their finger at themselves would harmonize themselves once again.

  • For myself, I hate being a hypocrite, therefore I never judge how anyone acts unless I'm called to do it. Or if I'm inspired by the way they act, then I judge them in a positive light. "rob the grave to snow the cradle" is like bringing up a dead secret, to get the clouds to snow, then taking the snow and making a snowball to throw around negatively. Basically talking about something you don't really know about, and saying that that thing was done on purpose to destroy or offend, is negative.

  • negativity, and pull it out of your system. Everyone has "weeds" in their souls, you gotta pull em out, using Tool, as your Tool. Also, "weeping shades of indigo" doesn't do anything either, because its all lies, a lawyer trying to play the martyr and never changing the negativity the put other people down with.

  • The purpose of all Tool songs are intended for discovery. Taking a song thats full of anger, to get mad at yourself or another, and using that anger to reveal the negativity in the world. Any fan of Tool knows that anger does not create destruction, only ignorance creates destruction. Anyone willing to see themselves as the "perpetrator" in this song, can't really dance around the meaning it creates in their own heads. "lemon juice in your eye." Instead you gotta point your finger at your own -

  • This song seems to be more about a person or group of people judging another based on their own shady inference. Deeming another's act "wrong" because they only understand their own purpose. Some people take it as far as "hanging the juror with the innocent." For example, they wave their finger at one person to another person about the first person and blaming both people as "predators", and in extreme cases, are being a hypocrite because they have done or will do that same thing many times.

  • Not many people seem to know what this song is about.

"The Pot calling the Kettle Black" is an old English phrase that basically means 'the pot' is a hypocrite, because the pot is, itself, black. Not in a racial way; In a burnt way.

  • awesome song......YEAH!!!
