cool I have never flown airtran's 737, and I am next month (august) so it is cool to see what they look and sound like during flight.

@commodorefan2 - Oh I know. The 717 is my favorite commercial aircraft. I like both, but I do agree that the 717 is more comfortable overall.

@oholloman95 I highly doubt the FAA is going to take the time out of their very busy schedule to come after a college student who recorded a takeoff on his digital camera. Besides, I think I fulfill peoples interests in airplanes by posting this video :)

wow airtran was fine for me i flew from rochester newyork to baltimore and im 16 and the flight attendendent called me sir when she asked for what i wanted to drink and i like the 717 more powerful on takeoff

@seand121212 The 717 is my favorite plane on their fleet and it also has free Go-Go Wifi, I love it, and the XM radio is the best. however it sucks if you forget your headphones however sometimes they hand out free earbuds ;D

i think the 717 flights are more common compared to the 737

i really didn't mind the service they gave me (i've only flown once for em, n it was a solo flight n i'm only 15 :P) but it does have a few things that are disturbing.

like the food they offer. there is almost no food compared to delta.

plus they treat u differently if ur under 18 flying alone.

and they don't really hand u anything, its more like a toss at your face.

and their airplanes aren't very clean.

but i'd still fly on em.

That is because the 737/700 and the 737/800 are the same arcraft when it comes to the SAFETY instructions. 4 door exits, etc. That is what it is all about. SAFETY. Thanks for at least reading the card....Most people don't! I think the only real difference between the 700 & 800 is the 800 has a few more perks!!!!!

I love how the safety card is titled 737-700/800 when AirTran doesn't even have 737-800 airplanes.
