I might be a little crazy, and I sure in the hell don't like war, but to be honest didn't mine vietnam that much, I was doorgunner on huey, love to fly had over 1000 hrs in the air and was shot down three times, have no complains, except our gov. was weak didn't know how to fight a war and they still don't, they like to start wars but they don't know how to end them.

well namnoiz how about over 32 thousand now? I was only 4 when my uncle went into Marines, but he had ived w/ us, mother was his guardian, she signed for him t go in at 17.he did 2 tours of Nam, he got stateside in 72, but almost '73 by time made it home. He was diagnosed with Mytiplie Myeloma Cancer, very fast and aggressive.AGENT ORANGE THEY SAY.didnt he suffer enough in the jungle? in 9 months went from stage 1 to stage III....I pray for him and all the other wonderful Nam vets...Simper Fi

was there as a kid-heard this song in Highschool- heard it once and never left-Been there in the mind ever since-had a cousin there-then we have the wars ever since- Prayed for everysould both sides of the conflicts-I know who starts them BUT i know who is going to come and bring Peace- I dont care what you call it GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL---Hard to understand at times Bit its true-GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL--Ill always keep both sides in prayer--war is of satan -GOD doesnt want war-HE never did---

I am a navy vet . 76 -84 . I served during peace time . I am 54 years old now . I do remember the crazy time of the Vietnam conflict . I want to thank every vet of every war for my right to be free and for trying to help everyone around the world to be free . You are proud people in my heart and soul . EVERYONE BREATHING TODAY SHOULD THANK YOU .

Watching this footage with the music is a bitter sweet experience. The music was ALWAYS there in the background...a memory of home, and comfort, and Saturday morning cartoons. Bitter in the sense that we WERE children, and it was all YANKED away from us by a war half of us didn't even understand. In the short time we spent there we changed...we ALL changed, and grew up FAST. The memories of commerades and the friendships we made are images and feelings I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING.

i am 12 and i have great respect for the veterans and pow mia of wwll and vietnam. i saw a picture that has an eagle with an american flag on one side and a pow mia flag on the other and it says all gave some some gave all.also at my school anyone who disrespets either of these vetrans and pow mia are going to get a visit to the ER.

my grandpa was in the marines for 38 years and went to vietnam, my dad said that as a kid my dad would sit with my mom and watch the names go accross the tv screen of all the people who had died fortunately my grandpa's name never crossed that screen

I watch this video with a very somber heart. For I know that the events portrayed in this film were a nightmare for those in the film. The Vietnam War was an awful war and our soldiers paid one hell of a price over there. God Bless you veterans, and especially you Vietnam Veterans. @namnoiz Sadly.. When our Men and Women come back from Afghanistan they wont be treated with the dignity and respect they should.. Ive lost friends to Afghanistan and I myself want to be in the Marine's but..Afghanistan has become a forgotten and hated war just like Vietnam.. Its sad
