I tell you man, this soundtrack is just magic.I am gonna steal it from you one day, for my own timelapse video. Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing such great footage with us.Please keep it up.
@PKKamba the video file I uploaded was about 600MB. But the timelapse sequences need much more place on hard disk. My current data-archiv of timelapse sequences is about 110 GB.
@martinheck1 whats the bitrate ? and what was the original file bit rate cos if the bitrate is lower then 1000kb it dont mean shit if u buff the bitrate up
WOW this is beautiful! So if im correct you used sony vegas to combine the pictures? If not would you please inform me with which programme you made this? And what settings did you use? shutterspeed, aperture, etc. Thank you! :D
@ibo852 Yes I combined the images in Vegas. But that's possible with every other video-editing-program I think. For deflickering I used VirtualDub with MSU-deflicker plugin. My settings at the camera vary with every sequence. You just have to set all modes to manual.
And i have just a question, or several. Could you say what did you do first? I mean, did you use the virtualdub first to get rid of the flickering and then sony vegas? and did you decide to shot in AP or manual? (im an newbie with timelapse) Regards
Amazing work. I like it alot :) From now on I will make my timelapes available in 4K. I will regret not to in the future. What is the correct 4K-resolution, btw?
the correct "4K-resolution" has 4096 pixels in width. the vertical number of pixels depends on the used ratio (16:9 / 21:9 / 2.35 etc...) in 16:9 format its 2304 pixels vertical...
But you need a really, really powerful machine to edit 4K-material smoothly... I am always improving to get the best work-flow on a "consumer" computer...
Also read the other comments by me... that might answer other questions you could have...
@VishalSinghFilms I rendered it to a single image jpeg-sequence. But today I would prefer to export it in .mov container with a photo-jpeg-codec. The problem is, that Vegas Pro needs a lot of RAM to process it. That means 8GB upward ! Other-while it will abort the rendering process. Now I know that Premiere Pro has no problems with RAM-usage while rendering in 4K-resolution even you have "just" 8GB, like I have.
A huge advantage is definitely to use a SSD for additional disc-cache.
@DylanW216 yeah your right, you "just" can make videos in 1080p, but single images can be recorded in 18MP -> 5184x3456 pixels. That film is made of single images (that's because it's told "timelapse-photography"). So it was also the perfect size to zoom into the footage in pre-production.
I dont get it, how did you make it this great and 4k with Canon 550D?

Great!
How do you set the "New still Image length" in Vegas Pro?
ChienChouShih 9 months ago
@ChienChouShih I don't really understand what you mean ! I simply imported the images as sequence by using the classical import-window...
