  • Everyone acknowledges that Flash sucks on Linux and the reason is Adobes poor support.

  • @ontheweirdplace You sound like a mentalist, go get some help chump. Oh, forgot to mention that I've also programmed in PHP, Perl, and Java.

You're a disgrace to humans, that's how dumb you are.

  • @ontheweirdplace I am a professional C/C++ programmer, imbecile. But as far as I am concerned, and judging by your poor English written skills, you're just another jobless retarded idiot.

How does it feel to be owned? Or did you shit your pants knowing that Adobe's Flash is way more efficient on Windows 7, bigot? LOL. Enjoy watching YouTube.

  • Come on man i have ubuntu 11.10 the most bloated linux kernel and i've tested windows 7 64bit with this benchmark (and newest nvidia drivers) and i have less fps COME ON

Probably you dont have installed the propriety driver and you dont know what you're doing !!!!

I HAVE MUCh MORE FPS ON LINUX THAN ON WINDOWS 7 !!!! STUPID

  • @Ubuntu4yourpc

    1) This benchmark has nothing to do with video drivers, it does NOT utilize any hardware acceleration

    2) It is solely based on the performance of Adobe's Flash

    3) Which browser and hardware did you use?

    4) What Flash version was running on both OS?

    5) Make a video about it; note: screencasted scores do not count, show the original score.

Everyone with an IQ above 70 knows that Flash is better on Windows.

  • @lienucksfails2

IQ tests are one of the great swindles of our time. This may be widely known, but only in the far future, when history books will mention it as a matter of fact, and not a wild "conspiracy theory".

  • Did you use the 64bit flash plugin under Linux? The CPU you have is 64bit....

  • @lin545 Flash is used everywhere. It sucks on LiEnucks. Get used to it.

  • i think its funny we cannot vote on comments or the video.. just saying

  • @penguin10291 Ah... take a guess?

Hint: too many butthurt LiEnucks fanboys with 50+ accounts.

  • Linux is free, forever. And runs faster on old laptops, it's not made for heavy gaming. It's made for people that knows it's usage. No hate, but you shouldn't expect so much from a free OS.

  • @MichaelMBBA I get your point, however, there are a lot of retarded fanboys out there that think LiEnucks is better than Windows, at say, Flash 10, gaming, etc. These videos are made to debunk those myths.

    Good day.

  • @xyz98742

Lienux peoples is a retarded? Is very intersting what you say, bicoz, me, every day I sinking, Lienux peoples very smart.

Unfortuntly, I not smart, so I not know who is smart, who is not smart.

But me, I using the Windows every day, if if what you saying is true, then, is good, bicoz I know I not so stupid. Only my Englishing is bed.

  • the issue has nothing to do with OS. it has to do with adobe flash and firefox, and the obvious network fluctuations that cannot truly be accounted for. Flash is obviously designed with windows pcs in mind. compare with a real test, such as response time, reliability, safety, code correctness, or even support and linux wins. Most of us are not fan boys, simply logical and rational.

  • @atemisk333 LOL. YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT DUMB FUCK.

The Flash 10 application loads itself offline and then runs. This has NOTHING to do with network fluctuations, motherfucker.

  • windows 7 maybe 60% faster but its 100% less stable hah hah hah

  • @sotexklown LOL. No. Flash 10 is more stable on Windows. Blame Adobe.

And Windows 7 is more stable than Linux anyway. Use it.

  • I did what he asked :D my atom330 at linux ripped his "M$-Windows-socks" right off! :D Flash@1080p plugin-container 15% at 1 thread. as I have 4 threads. 15% / 4 = 3.75% in total! :D HTML5 at 1080p plugin-container 17-20% at 1 thread. not to piss him off 20% / 4 = 5% in total! :D That was FUN! :D daily usage = file server as soon adobe Flash releases 10.4 I will do this test on my router too! xD a single thread atom Z510 xD ranking measly 186 passmarks! xD just watch my channel xD

  • @cuntdrac Flash 10 sucks on LiEnucks only.

  • @cuntdrac Nah, delusional retard. Wake up. Most people here have 2-3 year old laptops, or even older, with lower specifications.

You're a dumb fucktard, that's all I can say about you, at this point.

vdpau, vaapi, etc, was already enabled.

  • @xyz98742 never been to russia.. vaapi = intel gpu.. you clearly do not know what you are talking about..

  • @cuntdrac I meant, vdpau.

  • @xyz98742 this is what vdpau on an Intel atom+ion (very underpowered pc compared to yours) looks like.. watch?v=sv1IMpFgubY you still think vdpau is being used by your system for rendering and flash.. jeez

  • @cuntdrac LOL. Atom is a whole different processor (optimized to decode video). Do not even try comparing apples to oranges. You fail.

    Vdpau was enabled.

  • "Still in denial? Blame LiEnucks 1% market share."

I would rather blame adobe for the useless pos they call flash. flash sucks on *everything*

we shouldnt need a x amount of cores with a high end gfx card in order to use the internet with flash half way decently.

also it seams you like "LiEnucks" more then you would like to admit...

  • @acrazyplayer

    Nah, I hate LiEnucks.

Anyway, Flash 10 is better than HTML5. Try watching a YouTube video using HTML5

(join the HTML5 version at youtube com / html5), and notice the CPU usage:

    Flash 10: 5-6%

    HTML 5: 20%

  • i Got 50 fps while running this video while Wow was installing something while i have memebase.com open. :P

  • @samrudi Windows is 60% faster.

  • You can't really compare Linux to Windows 7. A better test would be Linux Mint vs. Windows 7. Also if you have lots of background processes running that might affect too.

  • @jojiinchrist Same kernel runs on all distros. Background processors are shown in the video: 0% CPU usage.

  • @jojiinchrist Pause the video around 0:58 - Background Processes:

Gnome Monitor: 16% => later closed when doing the test => 0%

    Recordmydesktop: 4%

    Everything else: 0%

So basically 2% CPU usage (because of screencasting / dual core).

  • LiEnucks defeated yet again. What a useless POS.

  • Linux must be better since it's slower!
