@babyshambles2010 it was a great shame that Petere was jailed at all back in 2004 considering his sudden rise to fame and attendant pressures I believe that a wiser judge or magistrate could have recognised his importance as a poet and realised that we should have more understanding and forebearence for our leading poets and artists.

out of prison and on a tag, back in his nest of faded flags and rusty tins, ornate ormolu ink wells and feather quills, smashed guitars and ooh-la-la! It was wonderful to see him though he had put on a bit of weight in chokey and he's getting difficult to put your arms around .

When he picked up the guitar and started playing I filmed him with my cheap lumix digital camera. The next time I saw him I gave him a copy - he didnt remember it , so if I hadnt filmed it, it might not exist now.
