  • transfer transfer TRANSFER!

you must have said transfer about 100+ times its so ANNOYING

  • only after i read that

  • what is the 'science process' involved when heat is applied over the transfer paper?

  • thanks for the video!

i´m a screen-printer and i just use the iron to give a soft end to the print.

do you print over the paper? how do you? silk-screen?

everybody here in spain is moving to vynil....

    thanks again

  • Headphonic! Cheers from the U.S.! Great question, I don't do much with silk screen, and like your competitors I've moved into doing more vinyl as well. But to answer your question, yes in creating the transfer you print directly onto the coated side of the transfer paper. Mostly these are "plastisol" transfers, having a plastic type feel to them. The subliminal hot split is actually the softest transfer, to soften the others I put in the dryer for a few minutes.

  • hi chris,

what ink is printed on the HOT SPLIT transfer paper ? and how long would the print last ?

    cheers

  • when your making a t-shirt do u hav 2 use transfer paper ??

  • If you're going to use heat then yes you have to use transfer paper.

  • everyone makes mistakes, be cool people, not everyone is versed in this stuff.

    Thanks for the advice.

  • Thanks for that. LOL...I know this was a bad edit so sorry for that.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
