  • Great Job !!! My Grandfather was in hospital with Legs Diamond , he was knocked down by a cab ,he was a poor seaman from Liverpool UK . Legs Diamond sent money to my Grandmother in Liverpool to help the family . I guess he had a heart after all .

  • The novel about him by William Kennedy is really good. I don't know how true to life it is; it's certainly more of a novel than a non-fiction book, but it's really good.

  • Prohibition was during the 1920's, please get your facts straight.

  • it actually lasted from the early 1900s when PEI first started to promote the idea of prohibition. Then it ended in the late 1940s when PEI was the last to abandon the idea. YOU GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

  • that is true. BUT 1,000s of counties across the US states, called DRY and no alcohol was allowed.till this day there are still counties in many states where alcohol is not be sold.Hmm..thinking back to those days, that was how Kennedy got rich!anyhow,Prohibition didnt just end in one day or within a year.these kids have very little to work with, since American history is watered down, very little is taught.dont be surprised, very few know what the word prohibition means, came from.

  • THE FIRST PICTURE HERE IS NOT 1931 BECAUSE THE CARS ARE FROM 1937 ERA AND MORE GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT ALL RIGHT KIDS YOU DID A GOOD JOB ON IT THE STORY LINE I GIVE YOU ..A..
