  • This music by Enya is just right for the spirit of this reassuring message. Thank you.

  • @MsEndure2end

Deeply offended or hurt by sin? You're seriously deluded.

There's no spirit of god, and no holy ghost. Again, you're deluded. Scientists now know how religion works in the brain. And even if there was a god or a one-true religion, it certainly wouldn't be yours. Mormonism is obviously false.

Apparently you haven't done any battles in your soul... because you have swallowed this crap hook, line and sinker. I have no interest in being a cultist.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

You're saying that your natural man won't receive the Spirit of God because it's foolishness to you. 1 Cor. 2:14 claims that you cannot know the mysteries of God because they are spiritually discerned.

I read your comment and hear a voice crying out for truth, the gospel of Jesus Christ and a yearning to go back to what you once knew. "KinderhookPlates doth protest too much, methinks."

  • @MsEndure2end

You must be brain-damaged.... I'm not crying out for truth, and your cult certainly doesn't have any truth. It's obviously false. I'm just sad that you're not smart enough to see that.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Brigham Young said: Every time you kick “Mormonism” you kick it upstairs; you never kick it downstairs. The Lord Almighty so orders it (DBY, 351).

No question in my mind that the Church of Jesus Christ is the true church on the earth, with the holy priesthood of God, the Book of Mormon being the word of God, and a living prophet today. It is all such a blessing. You should come back!

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

There is always hope. Jim Rohn said "You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself."

Christ welcomes you with open arms. He loves you.

  • @MsEndure2end

There's no hope in Mormonism. It's a false religion.

Brigham Young also said that the penalty for intermarrying with people of color was "death on the spot". Some "prophet".

Don't you get it? I'm much happier now than I ever was in the cult of Mormonism. I'm only here because it amuses me to play with you silly Mormons, and also to warn others about your false religion. There's a reason why your church is struggling to retain members.... it's false.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Never give up. There is always hope.

You don't see clearly, as it suggests in 1 Cor. 13:12. But the Holy Ghost will help you.

“Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. 1 Cor. 2:9.

You have fallen into that trap which led you away from God. The gospel is open to you according to your faith, repentance. God loves you! Keep holding on. You can do it!

  • @MsEndure2end

I have plenty of hope, but not in a cult like Mormonism. Are you really so stupid that you're going to continue parroting your silly phrases? Why would anyone in their right mind belong to a cult? Really, you must be brainless!

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The Holy Spirit can soften your sad heart if you just invite him to renew your soul. I challenge you to renew a friendship with an old friend from your ward, and prepare to come home.

"THE COMFORTER, WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST...HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE” JOHN 14:26

It works every time it's tried! You are a valued child of God.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Hope in Christ is extremely powerful.

I love the example of Aminadab when 300 of his people were suffering from a cloud of darkness over them. He said you must repent, and pray fervently, until you have faith in Christ., and the cloud of darkness shall be removed. (Helaman 5:41).

That's the kind of hope that I'm talking about, and you deserve that wonderful blessing!

  • @MsEndure2end

How silly. Why would I waste my time in a sad, false cult such as mormonism?

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The answer to that sad question is:

WHEN INDIVIDUALS TRY TO UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERIES OF GOD WITHOUT SEEKING REVELATION THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE MYSTERIES OF GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BE JUST THAT...MYSTERIES.

Jesus sacrificed for you whether you accept his gift or not.

  • @MsEndure2end

Now, now, don't get testy. It's not your fault that you're in a false religion and believe in subjective emotional experiences instead of proven fact. Poor thing.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Good example of what the scriptures mean by "seeing through a glass darkly."

Without the Spirit of God, we just don't have the ability to comprehend God's mysteries. He doesn't force anything on us, hence the need to have the desire to want to know the truth. God loves you always.

  • @MsEndure2end

Why would I want to believe in a false religion like Mormonism?

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

You have my testimony that the Church is good, and could be for you, too. The evil of persecution continues just like it did when Christ was on the earth and they hated him for being good. Nevertheless, the Church is true, and Christ is at its head. Great blessings are in store.

  • @MsEndure2end

Your church could never be good for me, because I don't put my trust in false entities claiming spiritual authority. And your church is criticized for it's crazy beliefs and anti-gay activities... rightly so... not because its the church of any god. No christ is at the head of your church, and your church is false. You have provided no evidence to the contrary. Sad.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

This video is so inspiring to me. Why not watch it again? The truth is there and you only have to reach for it. No one likes to be reminded of their sins, but with faith in Jesus Christ, any kind of immorality or confusion can be overcome.

The best "evidence" is through faith: You may know by the power of the Holy Ghost, do not deny the power of God because he works by power according to the faith of the individual. (Mor. 10:7) His promises are sure.

  • @MsEndure2end

Why would I believe in a false church, without evidence? Faith is not evidence.... you should know that. The fact that you don't is troubling...

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Maybe you remember that faith is the evidence of things not seen. Let not your heart be troubled...

  • @MsEndure2end

And faith is still not evidence.

My heart is much more content now than it was with Mormonism.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

I believe what the scriptures say. Faith IS the evidence because any puny evidence that man could come up with pales to the almighty and awesome power of the Holy Ghost.

Your content heart is important, of course, but even more so is your soul.

  • @MsEndure2end

My soul is also far more content ever since I left your false religion.

Faith is NOT evidence. And I've already explained to you that your holy ghost thing fails, since all religions feel it. Try again.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The salvation of your soul depends on Jesus Christ.

  • @MsEndure2end

Awwww, how sweet... the simple theist thinks there's a god, and she actually thinks that she knows what the will of that god is!

Too bad it's all mythology. Oh, and you might think your god helped you with your depression, but there's far better ways to manage that.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

You seem to hide behind you cynicism and anger. The gospel of Christ is like a ladder. You begin at the bottom and step by step you arrive at the top. The grief that may be experienced is but a small moment. Keep climbing. Jesus will lift you when you can't.

Depression is a drain, but it can be overcome with a combination of antidepressants and even larger doses of prayer and faith. Like any other affliction, we do all we can, then let God do the rest.

  • @MsEndure2end

Oh, that's hilarious! Hiding behind cynicism and anger? Don't you theists ever say anything original (or true)? That's really funny... and absolutely wrong. Sorry to disappoint.

Still not interested in unproven fairy tales and false prophets, thanks anyhow.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

I'm getting that you are suffocating in deceit and false information. This might help as a balm to your soul:

Press forward with a steadfastness in Christ and a perfect brightness of hope, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, and ye shall have eternal life.

There is none other way nor name given whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God, this is the true doctrine of Christ, and the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

  • @MsEndure2end

You have a wild imagination. No balm needed, and I am standing tall amongst truth and reason. You're the one who's been deceived... after all, you're the one who's in a false religion.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to leave the bleak deceit and go into the wonderful light of truth. His Atonement is available to everyone. Even if you choose not to accept his precious gift, He still offers it to you and loves you. This is balm to my soul.

  • @MsEndure2end

no deceit here, bleak or otherwise. wrong again.

the real problem is, your church's deceit is bright and shiny... it's got you mesmerized... but it's still false. you poor thing.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Our comments prove the Book of Mormon to be correct. The attitude of Laman and Lemuel toward Nephi's teachings about Christ is mirrored these many centuries later by your attitude toward Joseph Smith.

    I'm glad that I am a Nephi.

  • @MsEndure2end

Your comments show that you believe in a false book and a false religion.

I'm glad that I use reason instead of believing in fairy tales.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The Book of Mormon is the word of God, which is where we find the true story of Laman and Lemuel opposed to Nephi. I am amazed at the similarity of your comments now to Laman and Lemuel's behavior centuries ago. It's not a coincidence.

Faith is a comfort and believing is a blessing unlike any other possible thing. Brings peace to the soul.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

    1 Nephi 2:11-16 paraphrased:

Laman and Lemuel were proud. They complained and refused to believe in visions, faith, or prophets, calling it "foolish imaginations." Laman and Lemuel had no clue about the mysteries of the God that created them, and they disbelieved the prophets.

This is a striking resemblance to your own comments!

    2 Nephi 33 paraphrased:

Nephi’s words are true—They testify of Christ.

There is positive power in the word of God.

  • @MsEndure2end

Those aren't the words of a god! You're so deluded. They're the words of a fairy tale, designed to keep people obeying. It's so sad that yóu're taken in by this.

You believe in a false church. Stop wasting your time.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The truth is there for any sincere heart with a desire to believe, which is the path I choose to follow. It's amazing that despite the mighty works that God has shown you, you can still dwindle in unbelief! Whether the example is Laman from the Book of Mormon, Cain from the Bible, unbelief is a choice, but the wrong one. Helaman 15:15, Mark 6:6.

  • @MsEndure2end

Pure fairy tales, once again. Just stop already. I'm not going to believe in your church's lies and false scriptures. I'm too smart for that.

As far as your comment on the other page regarding the founding fathers, that page now requires comment approval. So in the next comment you'll see my response to your ridiculous claim.

  • @MsEndure2end

Sophomoric? Don't be ridiculous. When i see a lie, I call you on it.

It's NOT true that the founding fathers were strong believers. There's plenty of proof that shows many of them were deists (do you even know what that means?)

"Morality is not variable..." Uh, wrong again. The word of god is variable depending on whether you're christian, muslim, hindu, or a mormon. Therefore, morality is too. The only morality that works is that which can be agreed on secularly.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

My comments are valid and true and well thought out, even if they differ from yours.

Thomas Jefferson, "God who gave us life gave us liberty."

George Washington, "To the distinguished character of Patriot, it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished character of Christian."

Benjamin Franklin, "Here is my Creed. I believe in one God, the Creator of the Universe. That He governs it by His Providence. That He ought to be worshipped."

  • @MsEndure2end

No, your comments are false, invalid and poorly thought out. That's what I call lies.

"The hocus-pocus phantasm of a God like another Cerberus, with one body and three heads, had its birth and growth in the blood of thousands and thousands of martyrs." -- Letter to James Smith, December 8, 1822

"Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the Common Law." Jefferson, letter to Dr. Thomas Cooper, 1814

  • @MsEndure2end

This is what happens when you don't REALLY study it, MsEndure... Jefferson again:

"And the day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the supreme being as his father in the womb of a virgin will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. But we may hope that the dawn of reason and freedom of thought in these United States will do away with all this artificial scaffolding...." -- Letter to John Adams, April 11 1823

  • @MsEndure2end

Washington was a Christian only so far as it was convenient. Historian Barry Schwartz writes:

"George Washington's practice of Christianity was limited and superficial because he was not himself a Christian... He repeatedly declined the church's sacraments. Never did he take communion, & when his wife, Martha, did, he waited for her outside... Even on his deathbed, Washington asked for no ritual, uttered no prayer to Christ..." [New York Press, 1987, pp. 174-175]

  • @MsEndure2end

Franklin was a confirmed deist, as I stated:

". . . Some books against Deism fell into my hands. . . It happened that they wrought an effect on my quite contrary to what was intended by them; for the arguments of the Deists, which were quoted to be refuted, appeared to me much stronger than the refutations; in short, I soon became a thorough Deist." --Letter to his father, 1838

  • @MsEndure2end

And lastly, we have this quote from Franklin...

"I cannot conceive otherwise than that He, the Infinite Father, expects or requires no worship or praise from us..." - Articles of Belief & Acts of Religion

And thus we see the error of your ways, MsEndure. The founding fathers were NOT Christians in the way you are, and they didn't believe in a god the way you do. Study some more and you might come up to speed... if you take your blinders off.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Seeing the glass as half empty again, I see.

  • @MsEndure2end

You're spreading around lies as usual, I see.

You're either willfully lying, or you just have not studied the topic very well (probably just relying on some book from Deseret Book). Which is it?

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

He who hath ears to hear may be converted in their heart. Closing your ears closes your heart and you may fall into forbidden paths.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

The Church is magnet. That may be why you keep coming back. The Lord will help you if you want to repent and have faith in Him.

    Peace.

  • @MsEndure2end

Still not interested in your false religion. It's all a pack of lies.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Your interest in these enlightening websites about the Mormons is telling.

  • @MsEndure2end

No, it's wishful thinking on your part. Mormonism is still false, bonehead.

  • I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know who I am, I know God's plan. I'll follow him in faith. I believe in the savior, Jesus Christ, I'll honor his name. I'll do what is right, I'll follow his light. His truth I will proclaim.

  • @MsEndure2end

Critiquing your religion is not the same as being contentious. Nice try, tho.

Gospel of peace and kindness? Hardly.

Sexism, racism, and homophobia don't constitute a religion of peace and kindness. It means "peace and kindness" only if you do what Mormons want you to do.

Yes, you had a witness, and so do thousands of people in other religions. Yours is not unique. By your own test (James 1:5/Moroni 10:4) ALL religions are true.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates I don't know why you want to be so judgmental. The gospel of peace and kindness stands only when the individual members choose to behave righteously, and to repent when they don't. It's quite simple.

    The Church is:

Not sexist: Mormons were the first in America to grant women the vote.

Not racist: All races have always been welcome.

Not homophobic: The law of chastity applies to everyone.

My witness is as unique as my faith. Don't forget James 1:6 too!

  • @MsEndure2end

    Your church is:

Sexist: women can't have the Mormon priesthood.

Racist: until 1978 blacks couldn't have priesthook or temple ordinances.

Homophobic: you attempt to impose your religious beliefs on gays.

It would be so much better if you wouldn't lie.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates Now your arguments, judgments, and contention are veering toward misconceptions that seem to trap so many.

Sexist: The Priesthood is held by men, and equally available to women. God made us with different roles, and it's an inspired division of labor!

Racist: Blacks have always been welcome in the Church. Anyone who carps about the Priesthood misunderstands its holy significance.

Homophobic: God made the law of chastity. Gays must choose to obey or not.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates The gift of the Holy Ghost comes after one repents and becomes worthy. It is received after baptism by the laying on of hands by those who have the authority. James E. Faust, 1989.

  • @MsEndure2end

Oh MsEndure, don't you ever learn? You can't lie to former members and get away with it! Silly girl....

Sexist: Sorry, but the whole priesthood is "available" to women thing is just a way to keep you women subservient. Poor thing!

Racist: "welcome" in your church or not, denying them full "blessings" is discriminatory.

Homophobic: No god made the law of chastity. That's a belief, not a fact, and you let your religion interfere with civil rights. That's wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

Blacks, women, gays have equal blessings available to them because God is no respecter of persons.

"All those who receive my gospel are sons and daughters in my kingdom." DC 25:1.

It's about faith, obedience, and choice.

David O. McKay said, "The greatest battles of life are fought within the silent chambers of the soul.”

If these secular issues are dragging you down, then you might find peace if you returned to the safe haven of the church.

  • @MsEndure2end

Now you're being silly again. How could anyone find "safe haven" in a religion that's sexist, racist and homophobic. Unless of course, they too are sexist, racist and homophobic. Thankfully, I'm not.

Why would any person who's escaped the grip of the Mormon cult return to an org that's so hurtful? You might have Stockholm syndrome, but I don't.

You haven't chosen god.... you have chosen a mainstreamed cult that was invented by a liar, womanizer and fraud.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

I testify by faith stemming from the truth. You may have been offended, or hurt by sin, which happens to the best of us, but the gospel of peace and kindness stands stronger when you choose to behave as Jesus would, and repent if you backslide.

You have my testimony that the Church is good, and could be for you, too. The evil of persecution remains just as when Christ was on the earth and they hated him for being good. The Apostle Paul was right.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

My testimony is by faith stemming from the truth learned by effort.

You may have been deeply offended or hurt by sin, but the choice to repent and behave better is open to everyone.

The Spirit of God can bless you, and if you've been baptized, Gift of the Holy Ghost is just waiting to be claimed. I'm sorry for your loss of faith, but it will all work out. That's a promise.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates

I love what David O. McKay said: "The greatest battles of life are fought within the silent chambers of the soul.”

Your comments reveal a battle going on within your soul. Never give up the good fight of faith, obedience and choosing God.

Your interest in LDS information is a clue.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates 3 Ne.28:11 And the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me [Christ]; and the Father giveth the Holy Ghost unto the children of men, because of me.

Moroni 10:5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

I believe that there are 2 concepts here: The Spirit of God, available to all; and the Gift of the Spirit of God, available upon baptism. See? It's not about a "nice try." It's about searching with faith and real intent! It works.

  • Love it!

  • We dont know, that the so called God is the Sky God of the ancients, also known as aliens. and the so called angels are actually a UFO. my source of this information are from history channel titled Ancient aliens visit the earth. watch it here in youtube and see.

  • Amen!! God bless you brother. You are right! We can only understand the lords mysteries if we give him our whole heart. So that when we search he will show us wonders.

  • The three monotheist religious traditions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, have more in common than in contention. All three believe God is one, unique, concerned with humanity's condition. Each takes up the narrative of the others' -- Christianity and Islam carrying forward the story begun in the Hebrew scriptures of ancient Israel that define Judaism. .

  • Instead, Huntsman suggested that the avoidance of her specific individual name "may well have a generalizing effect, connecting Mary with Eve."

  • @GohModley

Your cynicism is suffocating, not only to me, but more importantly to the Spirit of God.

  • If I am capable of suffocating the Spirit of God as you claim, then surely I am more powerful than God. Worship me!

  • @GohModley, shame on you.

  • @GohModley

All I can do, is give you my testimony- I know that God lives, and that he loves you, all of us. I know without a shadow of a doubt that the book of Mormon if of God and it is true. I know with all my heart, and I know that Heavenly Father is our father, and the MOST high.

  • @burkehughes

Here's my testimony: I know without a shadow of a doubt that the Book of Mormon is false. This is because I have studied it, know it's many errors, & I also know in my heart that it's not true. I testify that Joseph Smith was a false prophet & con man who married many young teens as well as bankrupting his followers several times.

Nearly ALL religions on earth claim truth via confirmation by the "Spirit", like Mormonism. So are they ALL right? If not, then why is yours right?

  • @ZelphKinderhook That's not a testimony. It's a denial. Yes, it is the one and only true church because it includes the priesthood and the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • @MsEndure2end

It's a testimony of how false your church is... and it is false, absolutely.

Not once have you been able to answer why people in other churches get spiritual confirmations just like mormons do, telling them that THEY have "the" gospel... and why your church is true but theres is not. You always run away when I have you pinned down.

  • @TheKinderhookPlates I don't know why you are so contentious. This is a gospel of peace and kindness. I do believe with all my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ is the true church. As opposed to "running away when pinned down" I simply cannot speak for other people, only that I have had a witness through the Holy Spirit. I feel very blessed to be a member of the true church.

  • I love Eric Skousen's book about the Earth and its creator. If the most intelligent fish were to communicate with us somehow, it would still be hard for us to describe what clouds look like to it.

For example; how would we explain to that fish what "Clouds looked like" in the heaven above? We might say, "It sort of looks like kelp" and they are made of water that is evaporated. The fish replies, "what is evaporated water?"

    what more could we say?

So it is with God and his mysteries.

  • I testify that Jesus Christ lives, that He is our Lord , God and Saviour, and that he will soon return to this earth, to reign in Glory on this very planet, and i do so in His sacred name, Amen

  • thank you, defending mormonism, one day Jesus Christ,ou Lord and Redeemer, will bless you for the good work you do

  • theres no such thing as Jesus Christ, Do you know there is over a hundred storys the exact same as Jesus, and it all dates back in the year of king tuts life. You are living in a delusional world.

  • boy, will you be in for a surprize when you will stand in front of Him on the day of judgement...the God that you thought did not exist will stand in front of you, and you will be down on your knees confessing that He is the Christ

  • @Rcee01

Either way, what do you have to hope for?

If there is a God, he would leave you bread crumbs. Sometimes its not easy for folks to think of a "loving father in heaven" when they haven't had very happy lives so far. Whether you had good parents or not, that God in heaven will never let you down.

God does not choose further reaches of space to be away from us when we doubt him... we just choose higher or orbits that are further away from him.

It will always be our choice whether or not.

  • LOL.

  • Blessed be the name of the most high God,and of Jesus Christ, whom He has send

  • I testify that the spirit of God can bless us with pure knowledge from Heaven, that the mysteries of God can be unfolded to us, if we live the commandments, and if we are willing to listen

  • "I feel our function as narrators was not to inform, but to inspire, just as we were inspired," said Canals, who also used "inspired" to describe church leaders for pursuing and producing the new Bible.

Canals, whose work included Genesis, Psalms, Isaiah and Revelation, recalled an instance when he was reading in the New Testament's Four Gospels. He narrated scenes of the Savior healing, while being personally conscious of his own daughter's battle with bone cancer.

  • "For us who participated in this project, it was very close to our hearts," said the Uruguayan native who was joined by vocal talent from Honduras, Colombia and Argentina.

The five were charged to couple their readings with an appropriate blend of tone, inflection and emotion.

  • The apostles had the higher , Melchezidek priesthood, from jesus.

  • Actually its the "Melchizedek Priesthood", the book of mormon does mention high priests, but it does not say that they held the Melchizedek Priesthood. Nor does it say that those who baptized had the Aaronic or Melchizedek Priesthood. LDS assume in the book of mormon, people had the priesthood since they teach that it is so important today, but "Priestcraft" is forbidden in the book of mormon (2 Nephi 26:29).

  • The Foundation of Apostles was restored and lives today. The canon remains reopened.

  • Awesome video! Favorited!

  • Nice video. People just need to test every spirit to see if it is from God.

  • hopefully you will humble yourself and accept jesus christ by standing in the waters and be baptized as was jesus Christ for it is a commandment of god in order to be born again.

  • Baptism is unnecessary for salvation. When Jesus says you must be born of "water" it is in reference to the first birth we all experience out of the womb. Water is the first birth and spirit is the second.

  • 1 Peter 3:21 Peter says it is necesary for salvation.

  • No, 1 peter 3:21 "...not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God..." it just says its our inward feeling towards God. Baptism is one way we show this change, its not required. Just doing what makes God happy is how we show this.

  • Exodus314IAM-

You misunderstand the Word of God, which is sad because you pin all your hopes of salvation on how you personally interpret it. Scary.

The Bible clearly teaches the necessity for baptism:

    Jesus was Baptized (Matthew 3:13-17)

Jesus Teaches the Importance of Baptism, Personally Baptizes His Followers (John 3:3-5, 23, 26)

Christians Ask What Shall We Do? and Apostles Teach Baptism (Acts 2:37-38, 41)

Blind Man Healed, Baptized (Acts 9:17-18)

  • Baptism (cont)

Disciples of Christ are Re-Baptized to Receive Proper Baptism (Acts 19:2-6)

Baptism is also a Symbol (Romans 6:3-6)

  • Well, if water of the mother is the first birth and spirit is the second birth, then it looks like we're all headed for heaven!

  • The white hot heat of the glory of the Savior at the 2nd coming, will consume all rebellious and wicked people they will not be able to withstand his glory and be utterly consumed and die horribly. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. There wait in the spirit prison 1,000 years only to be resurrected to a Telestial inheiritance and glory.

Repent and come unto christ and be baptized by one holding his priestood by immersion for the remission of sin as it says from the hand of PETER.

  • You don't know your Greek. The word "for" in Acts 2:38 signifies an action in the past. For example a poster might say "John wanted for robbery" The "for" there means John is wanted so he can commit a robbery, or wanted because he has committed a robbery.

Be baptized (because you have received) remission of sins. Also no man holds priesthood, it was all given to Jesus.

  • It was given to the apostles, but they were rejected and KILLED!

Acts 3:19-21 said there would be a Refreshing of times and a Restitution of ALL things!

  • That's impossible. Hebrews 7:24 says Jesus holds an unchangeable priesthood, or nontransferable. Not liable to pass to a successor. He can not give his priesthood to anyone! There is no reason for it anymore.

If everything has been restored then Jesus should be back according to your interpretation.

  • hebrews 7:26 for such a high priest became US (the apostles) after the order of Melchezidek.

  • No, the "us" is not the apostles, its in reference to all people, the sinners. Where does it say Jesus transferred the Melchizedek priesthood to the apostles?

  • So where is this 1000 years in prison, is 1000 year eternity or everlasting as the Bible says? (Matthew 18:8; Matthew 25:46; 2 Thessalonians 1:9) that does not sound like 1000 years. Then there is Joseph Smiths made up telestial kingdom? Where in the Bible or the Book of Mormon does it talk about telestial kingdom? wouldn't that be important to support in either book to the LDS?

  • Exodus314IAM-

Mormons believe in an open-cannon of scripture.

We accept all truth and are not obsessed, nor do we worship the Bible, as do you, and other Christians.

We worship the true and living God, who has revealed information about the Telestial Kingdom through modern-day prophets.

Until you understand where we are coming from, it is pointless to debate with you.

  • First I know of no true Christian who worships anything or anyone except Jesus (God). As for the LDS view on Scripture, well it would seem that the LDS gods cannot make up there minds as to what we should be "doing" to be saved. Do you kill yourself or not? (blood atonement) was Adam a god? (Adam-God doctrine)

If I was LDS I would be confused as well.

Seek the truth in the Bible (not worship).

  • Bringing up 'blood atonement' and the 'adam-god theory' (you miscorrectly wrote it as a docrtrine) is a 'case in point' in why it is pointless to debate with you.

You praise Jesus in one line, then throw in random anti-Mormon garbage in the next, using cliched buzz words and typical anti-Mormon phraseology.

And yet you expect passionate Christians like myself to actually listen to one word that you say?

  • 1 Corinth 15:41

"There is one glory of the asun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the bstars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. "

the glory of the moon is how we define telestial. sun --> celestial, stars --> terestrial

    /hope that helps

  • @Exodus314IAM

The contains info about the 3 degrees of glory but it must have been such a commonly taught doctrine in general records of the church that it was only mentioned briefly to the Corinthians in the 15th chapter of his first letter to them. Who is to say that the Gold Plates have no record of this? There is still 2/3 of that book that hasn't yet been translated so something could have been taught therein.

1000 years is easily known by those who have read in Revelations recently.

  • much is hidden from those who seek NOT to know God and ask for wisdom.

  • Fantastic video! Thank you so much for sharing it. It holds such an important truth. God bless you.

  • Excellent.

  • Great video! I like Enya's music. It's very emotional.
