We have Annas In Victoria Canada Year round also I see and hear them all over no matter what time of year it is but they seem localized to the city outside the city they only seem to venture in spring and summer.
I love hummingbirds. We had one we called greedy. He was named greedy because he chased away any other bird or hummer that came close to HIS feeder.LOL He stayed all summer and even knew his name at the end. Thanks for sharing the clip...I miss greedy
Ha ha that's cute! I didn't realize how territorial hummingbirds are till reading about it recently. I have two feeders now plus a couple of hanging baskets with fuschia and a few other potted flowers that they like. Most I've seen at my desk at once is three.
