Thanks; It works; connected through the in-line wire succesfully. Just a question. What if say, someone wants to try recording it from a pc headphone microphone. For example using an extension/multiple earbud splitter. And stick the line-in, as well as the microphone line in both earbuds, tehn connect it to the destkop line. Do you think it would work? Producing from the Iphone aswell as talked into the headset mic.
@lilmovieman407 It would work if you had headphones for your computer to hear the audio track. Though it might be a more complicated way of doing things
i folllowed all the steps. once i got into audacity i plugged in my ipod into the blue hole. then i pressed record on audacity and play on my app. i could hear the beat playing, but not the words i said in the song. i didnt use a beat given to you in the app. i used one out of my itunes library i got off youtube. anyways, what do i do to record the beat AND the words i said. PLZ HELP!!!
@iAmThatKid100 yes absolutely, this should work with any audio app for the iphone. Since what we are doing is recording the auidio live on our computer. Anything that you would normaly hear in your headphones will be recordable using these steps. Just que up the song, hit record on the computer, hit play on the ipod/iphone. wait for song to finish and then hit save on your computer. Easy as that.
@iAmThatKid100 Forsure, Audacity is a free and clean sound editing program. It will also work for Mac and Windows. You can purchase those mini stereo cables at almost all computer and electronic stores. Like Best buy the source and even Walmart should carry them. They range anywhere from 5-15 dollars.
this is great advice! I can use it for beatwave. more people should see this. could you put a video response to my "GG Ep. 2 How to make ringtones on Itunes" ?
On mine now, it doesn't even have the twitter or facebook option, it says its because of liscensing, so maybe its new on the 2.0 version?
