Thank you, Anthony, for showing us that a wonderful tango recorded in Germany in 1927 can have the same sensual, sultry sound and nostalgic pull as any tango recorded in Argentina in those days. Most Westerners might associate the tango with Leroy Anderson and Mantovani and such band leaders who took the tango out of the tango and presented us with deodorized over-rehearsed bigband stuff. May your mission of culture and education go on forever! Wow, wasn't Gene Buffington a real looker!!
