  • What model is that snow thrower?

  • The music really sucks ass

  • I like what you did to her, but the music sucks and drives you nuts. You take away from the sound of the machine!

  • Also montecarloss85ho for the record you wrote in your one post that the model 71 and model 72 were SQUARE fendered models when in fact they were not. They were not equipped with fenders from the factory as standard equipment. Fenders for these 2 models as well as the Original, 73 and 100 were an option from IH and they were ROUND fenders.

  • @1936case look at the times... the times of them were different. A mine was at 815 AM and B his was at 935AM i was not rude. after i pointed out htat cub cadet never did that then he said oh it is a JD 112. he appologized. there fore i was not rude to him in any way. also the model 71 and 72 did not have fenders. and that is my mistake.

  • @1936case i did know they nad no fenders. just slipped my mind. basicall the 73 71 72 and 100 and original were the only ones with that option. i was thinking wrong. but i was not being rude in any way.. i kindly asked in a previous post was he mistaking for a 122. then he went on saying it was a 112. but after i told him the models he appologized

  • hey montecarloss85ho you may have wanted to reread ad356's first post before you were rude to him. He clearly writes in the 2nd sentence that he has a JD 112. Nowhere does he mention he has a cub cadet. His point is that tractors of that era were built like tanks unlike tractors of today.

  • You've got the little cub cadets!

  • my dad owned a 63 model 100. he bought it in 1968 and ran it until about 1990. never saw another vehicle take a beating like it did. those old tractors could do some heavy work. he put 190 lbs of lead on the back. you couldn't stop it.

  • i have a 1964 100 that i just got painted

  • so based on this there is no model 112.. unles you mean the little riders that r belt drive with a peerless tranny. but the heavy duty cub cadets with the cast iron rear end. then noo they most certainly did not. absolutly not

  • a 71, 102, 122, 123, 72, 104, 105, 124, 125 is the ONLY model with square fenders

  • ive got over 25 cub cadets and i know 100% that there is no 112 cub cadet. so i dont know where you are getting a 112 cub cadet from.

  • 122 maybe.

  • where di u get the cub cadet?

  • what do you mean by beltt information??

  • great job! that thing looks great and runs great!!. i like the backblade and hitch you have, that was very nice. i have a 1969 john deere 110 with a snow plow. that thing will really push snow!! good job

  • I just picked up a plow for my 1969 110. Do you have any belt information for the plow?

    Thanks

  • i have a 71 112 square fender. right now i have a 37a blower mounted on the front. i also have a 38 2 blade style mower for the summer. the old gal will remove ALLOT of snow. its a tough little machine. these machines were all built back in the day when they were built like mini farm tractors. they are extremely tough. no plastic no aluminum no cheap low grade steel either, just American iron. i love my 112, i actaully cut right through 3' drifts with it, no problem. also mows really good.

  • they never made a 112??? do you mean a 122?

  • they most certainlly made a 112. 112 square fender was made in the late 60's until 1974. 1975 it was replaced with the 200 series. both were good machines, in fact they didnt turn to crap until 1988 when the 200 series was replaced with the newer 200 series(like the 240). the newer machines got rid of the cast iron k series(with a kawaski) and went to a alminun transaxle. yuk

  • umm this is the following models ih and cub cadet corperation made until 1989.... 0riginal, 70 71 72 73 86 100 102 104 105 106 107 108 109 122 123 124 125 126 127 128 129 149 169 800 1000 1100 1200 1250 1450 1650 482 582 582 special 682 782 782D 882 982 1282 680 984 986 784 1210 1204 1211 1512 1604 1606 1710 1711 1712 1912 1914 1806 1810 1811 1812 1572 1772 1872 2072... that is all the models made until 1990. they never made a 200 series cub cadet or a 112, they made a 122 from 8/65 til 11/67

  • Do you have a creeper gear on the 100? How much weight in the weightbox on back? I want to put a snowthrower on my 124. Already have a plow on my 1250, throwing snow is more fun.

  • i have a creeper n i fil the steel box whit concret ,,,,,aprox 60-70 pounds......

  • Sweet, nice video.

  • all manufactures built machines of very high quality back then. i have a 1971 JD 112, another american classic garden tractor. i have a mower and a snowblower and its a kohler K241. i assume you are running kohler power as well. is it a K161 or maybe a K181. did you have to rebuild the engine. the old kohlers are serous rocks, if you take care of them they will run forever. cast iron block engines are excellent. nothing like old american iron.

  • i got a k241 om my cub cadet 106

  • ahah and now the new edition cub 107 has it too

  • @ad356 i still have the 112 and i just bought a IH cub cadet 147. i just finished an overhaul of the 147's engine. what a superbeast. i love this video

  • what a beautiful machine. makes me inspired to clean up our 127. you did a great job on that 100, and it looks like its ready to run for another 40 years. quite a workhorse, and yet that goes without saying when mentioning an IH cub cadet.
